The fascinating menu, features fresh local ingredients, hosts over 30 different tapas with edgy additions like the Grilled sumac spiced NT barramundi with bloodless bloody Mary and the King Salmon and Sichuan pepper pâté with fennel confit. To compliment a drop from the acclaimed cellar of older vintages try the Baharat spiced kangaroo fillet with pickled beetroot, smoked chat potatoes and goat cheese sauce, grilled NT Goldband Snapper fillet with roasted cherry tomatoes and chunky chips, sumptuous slow-cooked tagine or Dukkah crusted Black Angus eye fillet on sweet potato mash with bone marrow and red wine reduction. From private function feasts to intimate dinners for two, Moorish Café creates something delectable for every taste.

“Tapas tapas and more tapas”
Reviewed 28 September 2012

The food here has been consistantly good for years, I highly recomend the tapas - its not budget but its great food. Nice sangria too, sit in the rear of the restaurant, its a bit cosier. Moorish is our top choice for lunch when we want to treat ourselves. Service is also pretty good for Darwin !

“Delicious!”
Reviewed 27 September 2012

Our group was impressed with the quality of food at this warm, friendly venue. Local produce was available in innovative presentations, with a delightful accopanying wine list. The service was knowledgeable and efficient without intruding, and was responsive to our group's requirements. Highly recommended.

“The choice - If you don't know what you want!”
Reviewed 19 September 2012

My Partner and I have eaten here a few times over the past few months. It has a great atmosphere - a wide range of choice from mains to tapas style. We tend to prefer Tapas, every dish we have had, has been delicious.
One of the things we like about Tapas here, is the food keeps coming as it's prepared, always something in front of you. Considering Moorish is always busy, this means you're not waiting for 40 mins to recieve a meal, it also means if you haven't had enough you can keep ordering!
Some delicous cocktails, great desserts there is nothing lacking here. Make sure you book!

“Very good”

All tapas meals were amazing (local jewfish in coconut and lime!), atmosphere good (sometimes a little crowded and boisterous), service good though quite an expensive place to eat.

“Ah-MAZING!”

First went we only order from the tapas menu - went back a little while ago and now have to start on the mains. Everything was full of flavour! Chili Chocolate Cake - 10/10.
