This place is all about the location. Getting off the Airtrain it was a short walk up a steep hill. The room was clean, spacious and a decent sized balcony. I couldn't help but feel I was staying in a predominantly residential building and you need to pick your time wisely to get any service in the lobby. I think the building is just over 10 years old and the decor in the room is dating fast, but for us the location was so close to everything (CBD, Fortitude Valley) that you needn't get a cab.

We chose to stay here for three nights while visiting Brisbane, preferring the space and flexibility an apartment brings over a hotel. It is conveniently located for exploring the city and just up the hill from a Woolworths. Our one-bedroom apartment was spacious, if a little sparsely furnished and equipped, and rather soulless. The building operates via a security system and is only staffed during the daytime, so it did feel a bit like staying in Fort Knox - possibly par for the course for a city, but didn't make us feel like welcome guests. However, the location and reasonable cost left us happy to have stayed there.

I stayed here for a few days with a work mate. In stead of 2 small rooms they gave us a large apartment that was fantastic.( 2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms ) the man who looked after us at check in was fantastic. He was very helpful and pleasant and even managed to get some supplies for us.
I will stay here again

Recently visited during Ekka for eight nights. Easy enough walk to the Exhibition Grounds in the lovely mornings and then returned via train to Central in the afternoons. The one bedroom apartment had full facilities. Only one comment was that I would have preferred a full-sized ironing board. No complaints about the facilities or service. I arrived 'out of hours' however the instructions received beforehand were very clear. The local supermarket down the hill with bakery and a fabulous deli was very handy. There is also a convenience store around the corner. The third floor balcony faced on to Boundary Street, however the noise was OK and I had a fabulous view of the Ekka fireworks each evening. Would definitely consider staying here again. I wanted somewhere with the convenience of the city location without being right in the middle. This was perfect.

Room Tip: If you are relying on public transport then you will have to walk. I had airport transfers covered...

A couple of minutes out of downtown Brisbane up on Spring Hill. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms. All the facilities you need in the apartment plus undercover swimming poll and spa. Free under cover secure parking, although spaces for guests are limited and sometimes hard to find. Great views from balcony. Overall excellent value.

My three nieces and I stayed in a two-bedroom unit at Tribeca two weeks ago. We were very pleased with the size and convenience of the apartment for the price, and the location worked really well for us. There's a Woolworth's grocery store right down the hill, and the savings of being able to make your own meals is a definite plus, as was being able to wash and dry clothes.

The very helpful and pleasant young man at reception let us in early and was really informative. Even though our stay in Brisbane was brief, staying in Tribeca made it even more enjoyable.

Cons:

Bare minimum cutlery and cookware (no oven pans, just trays)
Non-stick surface of the only frypan was flaking so had to buy our own frypan.
Poor lighting in the bathroom and no exhaust fan
After washing a significant amount of laundry and placing said laundry in the clothes dryer, discovered that it couldn't be used as the program button was MISSING and without it, the machine could not be used! Ended up having to drape items over cupboard doors and handles, and the backs of chairs.
More than one towel each could have been provided. We ended up washing the provided towels halfway through our stay (5 nights( and because of the faulty clothes dryer, had to drape them over the chairs on the balcony and even there they did not dry completely.
Now we get to the faulty stove! Planned on cooking a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs and after discovering the flaking frypan, had to use a saucepan. Turned the gas stove on low and put the saucepan on the stove. Add a knob of butter and WHOOSH! a plume of smoke comes up and the butter turns black! The smoke alarm goes off and luckily after holding in the button, it switches off!

Pros:

Free parking and Foxtel but the cons most definitely outweigh these!
