“Splendid View of Brisbane”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

We drove up on a Saturday late afternoon. It was not a long drive from Southbank and a pretty easy drive. Truly well worth our drive up. We were fortunate that there were many people there thus could easily find a parking lot. After enjoying some beautiful scenery and taking some beautiful shots, the weather turned dark with rain clouds looming.

“fantastic views”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

Is still a favourite place to go after 50 years of regular visits. The Brisbane skyline is amazing. Fun to look around and try to spot different landmarks. Great for star gazing in the evening. Not a lot of parking but always manage to find a spot. Feed the kids before you go as the treat type food is very expensive.Driving along the ridges the views of the TV towers never ceases to amaze the children. As a storm chaser great to view spectacular lightning strikes over the city and surrounds.

“On top of the city!”

Brilliant venue to visit with family, friends, even alone! May that be for a wedding photo shoot or just to loiter around with good food to eat, the Lookout dazzles especially around the twilight through the night.

“Excellent view”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

The food was very good and the service was great. The view from this place, at night, was incredible. The only downside is the parking. There is only one way in and out of the parking lot and it fills up quickly. My suggestion is to park along side the road and don't even attempt the lot, if it looks full.

“Good general overview of Brisbane”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

If you want to get a good, practically 360 degree view of Brisbane, the best place to head for, is Mt Coot-tha. If you have visitors from overseas, be sure to take them here, so as to get a view over Brisbane City, and surrounding areas. It is not a high hill, but gives excellent views in most directions. You can see as far as the Bay Islands, and most of the suburbs - you may even be able to find your own house. A must for visitors.
