The positive aspect was that the hotel was reasonably close to Brisbane Airport - I arrived at 1am so appreciated this. Once I reached my room I had traffic noise which meant poor quality sleep - a flyover within 200 metres and another traffic insection under the flyover with traffic lights. The noise did not abate. Further, noise carried badly between the rooms. For the price, I have had much much better value and budget hotel is not a good descriptor - it was below budget.. I stayed two nights - one night too many! Finally the hotel is in an industrial area and with no shops or restaurants in walking distance - it is a case of having a car or getting a taxi if you need to leave the place.

We just needed one night close to the airport. At $109 it is not cheap. Small room and bathroom. For the price I would have expected a little tube of shampoo (they cost 30c) at least. It was clean, and the double glazes windows a relief from the traffic. Good bed. When we left early in the morning, we were disappointed that there was no coffee or tea as promised downstairs in the kitchen area.

Room Tip: No lifts, so elderly might want ot take note.

Yes the rooms are tiny but if you just need something overnight near the airport it's perfect.
Exceptionally clean, quite cosy, the shower is hot, bed comfortable and rooms are quiet. We also had Italian delivered and the meals were huge. Continental breakfast available cheaper than what you'd pay at the airport. We also had our toddler with us and the bed was big enough to have the 3 of us in it so we didn't use the upper bunk. We also used the laundry after our toddler got carsick on the way.
The man on reception was really nice.

This was just a quick overnight stay on my way to Perth. My room was clean and tidy, all facilities working and surprisingly quiet for its location and clientele of travellers. Its just a quick trip to DFO for shopping and although no restaurants close they have a small meal selection or you can grab something from woolworths just near DFO.
