My only disappointment was that we only got to stay one night!

Location was great and we dined at a lovely local restaurant recommended by the owner Tim who couldn't do enough to help. Our room was excellent and the bed was so comfortable it was a struggle getting out of it the next morning.

Will definately stay there again when we're back in Brisbane.

So you think that a Bed & Breakfast could not live up to the besy of the hotels. Let me tell you, fellow travellers, this surpasses all your hopes. 4 spacious bedrooms, all with ensuites, all with balconies (which can convert to shared), hosts in Tim & Rachel who not only committ but deliver and anticipate needs, a location in the inner suburb of Paddington - think the best of Queensland traditional housing, lots of bars and restaurants and quirky shopping, think ready access by bus to the City & the sports/entertainment areas, THINK THE COLLINGWOOD. And if like us you think thbe old style Bed & Breakfasts were something special, welcome back to the new standard of accommodation and service.

An absolutely inviting, warm and personal atmosphere welcomes you to this impeccably finished B&B. I would more than recommend this place, not just for the comfort and location, but for the host, Tim; one of the best hosts I have ever had the pleasure of knowing (and I've stayed in many, many places). I recommend to everyone wanting to go to Brisbane. Thank you and we will certainly be back!

Stayed here one night, booked at last-minute rates online. We were welcomed when we showed up by Tim, our very gracious host. This is a very small boutique B&B in a trendy suburb of Brisbane. The rooms are impeccable and better than any five-star hotel in Brisbane, with classy soft furnishings and all with their own ensuite and private verandah. Very fast complimentary wireless internet is a big plus. OK breakfast - cereal, toast with a good selection of cold meats, cheeses and fruits. Being former Brisbane locals with a car, getting around wasn't a problem but it could be tricky if you're from out of town and/or don't have a car. This property is down a side street and not really walking distance to the city. Overall, an amazing stay and we will definitely be back for longer!

Finally a place that refers to themselves as "boutique" and can live upto it. This elegant B&B is such a great a place for a weekend break; especially when it is raining in Melbourne but lovely and warm in Brisbane.

Wanting to stay out of the CBD this visit, we came across The Collingwood by fluke and could not have asked for anything better.

The residence is immaculate and cleverly designed, the location is perfect for sipping coffee and watching the trendy (and the not so trendy) Mum and Dad's of Paddington go about their weekends. Tim and Rachel are great hosts and happy to share a story or two about their adventures.

Bottled water in the rooms, Wi Fi, morning papers and a simple yet sufficient breakfast is all incorporated in the daily rate. Will ensure to return next time our feet land in Brisbane.

A real find! This is a tasteful boutique B&B in a very eclectic area just outside the city. The owner, Tim, has considered every detail from the luxurious toiletries to the champagne on ice for arrival. His insider's information about the immediate area ensured that my husband and I were able to make the most of our short time in Brisbane. Having secured a heavily discounted rate through wotif, value for money was second to none of the other hotels we stayed in during our 3 week visit to Australia. That being said, I would not have felt short changed had we paid the full rate. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a bit of pampering don't mind being slightly away from the CBD.

We found this amazing house purely out of luck and can't wait to go back for a longer stay! Thank you so much for your great hospitality Tim. The house looks and feels like it has been insitu for decades but it is a very new home superbly designed and decorated with lovely calm spaces and deluxe furnishings. The promised gourmet breakfast was simply delicious and the whole place exuded peace, class and quality. Very well located in the trendy Paddington area. Definitely 5 stars from us!!
