I stayed in a studio room for 2 nights. It was my first time staying in that area of Brisbane, as I usually stay in city to visit my daughter at UQ St Lucia. The room was very spacious and had cooktop mini dishwasher and washing machine etc. Staff were great and $10 per night to park the car is a gift compared to city hotels. Getting there by car is easy enough, and once you do it the first time getting back via "the loop" to Coronation drive is not hard. Bengal Kitchen was great Indian on Stanley st and steak at Morrisons very nice as well. Had a very ordinary Thai meal at the IGA complex around the corner though, stay clear. Next time I'll walk the extra bit to Southbank for meals. Only thing that was strange was the wonderful 360degree views from the rooftop cannot be enjoyed with a beer in hand. No alcohol allowed when heaps of tables and chairs are there, imagine a few drinks watching the sun set?
Definitely will stay there again.
