This is a very nice hotel in a great location in the center of the Queen Street Mall. Brisbane is a great city for walking and this hotel is ideally located within walking distance to many attractions. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room rate was reasonable.

Room I booked and paid for four weeks prior to stay was not ready - placed in a room of "equal quality and price" - rubbish!!! Not even a mini bar. Was given use of the Executive Lounge however my room key did not allow access to the floor of the Executive Lounge. Assured by two separate staff members that I would be included in correspondence with managers about my room me lay - nothing thus far. Over priced, over rated. Pullman, King George Square far superior hotel!!! Will NEVER stay at a Hilton again.

We had a fabulous night at the hilton the surroundings and staff perfect, the food fabulous and mixed with good company of friends we all had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend it. Even though it is in the heart of the city the room was beautifully quiet and the beds very comfortable. I look forward to staying there again.

We stayed as a couple on a Friday and Saturday night to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary . We arrived by cab from the airport (cost $40-$50 depending on traffic) and were warmly greeted by staff. Check-in is up on the 6th floor, which has a wonderful open atrium providing plenty of light. As a HH Diamond member we were upgraded to an executive room on the 23rd floor, which had nice views. The room was a good size with the usual big Hilton bed and comfy pillows. Bathroom was standard size but a nice large showerhead. Our room did not have a bath, shower only. Be aware the mini bar is an automated system so if you move anything you will be charged for it.

Just after arriving in the room, we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and card from management to celebrate our anniversary. This was a nice touch which we appreciated.

The location is great, right in the heart of town and easy to walk to the river (we walked over to Southbank and back no problems). It is surrounded by plenty of eateries and right in the middle of a shopping mall. The concierge was very helpful in giving us suggestions of places to visit, even providing us with complimentary water to take with us on our walk.

We used the executive lounge (located on the25th floor) on both nights for the evening canapés and drinks (Mon-Fri is 6.00pm to 8.30pm and Sat & Sun is 6.00pm to 8.00pm). Have to compliment the staff in the lounge, they were fantastic. The beer and wine is self serve, but the staff will bring you spirits if you prefer. They also go out of their way to make sure your drinks are regularly replenished. The canapés were pretty much the same on both nights, apart from the hot dishes which were varied. Had no complaints with the food, sufficient choices available for our liking. The lounge is on the smaller side though so gets full quickly, especially on the Saturday night.

We didn't try the breakfast in the executive lounge as Diamond members get the option of having the full buffet breakfast downstairs which we opted for. It was a good breakfast, enough of a selection for us including omelette and egg station.

The hotel has a pool, tennis court and well equipped gym. We used guest services to order more amenities and towels and these were delivered promptly. There is a lobby bar which on one of the nights we had a cocktail each at. While the cocktails themselves were very nice, we found the service a little slow and thought the drinks were a bit too expensive ($20 each). If they had have been a little bit cheaper, we would have stayed and had a few more.

When we left the hotel we treated ourselves to one of the hotel cars to the airport instead of taxi. This was a $55 flat rate and was a nice way to end our trip.

Would highly recommend this hotel based on the excellent location and wonderful and attentive service of the staff (especially in the executive lounge). Thanks Hilton Brisbane for a great stay!

I might expect too much but every other time we have stayed at this hotel, we have arrived back at our room to find out bed turned down and curtain s drawn. This always makes me smile and think that someone cares. This was missing on this trip.

It seems that not providing turndown service was below expectations. I must however point out that we provide turndown service to every guest who requests this. It is however a service provided purely on request to most guests and I do apologise that this was not communicated clearly to you whilst at our hotel. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you back again some time soon and provide this service to you.

Enjoyed an upgraded room and liked the space and view. Found the open atrium great. A nice change from the long dimly lit hotel corridors and waiting areas. Elevator access to the lower floors and streets takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get it no problem. Breakfast was expensive - as usual in most Australian hotels - but at that time of day I did not have too much choice to dine elsewhere.

Only drawback is the smell coming from the bathroom drains - ugh! Sewer like smells from the sink and from the shower drain areas were stomach turning. Noticed it when brushing teeth and showering.

I am a member of the Hilton awards program at the Gold level, so will separate my review into two parts: that which would apply to anyone and that which would only apply to Hilton HHonors members.

For all:
Immediately upon arrival it was clear that attentive, thorough and courteous service was a high value for all staff..

The room, on a high floor, was well-appointed, very clean, quiet, with a great view. Lower floors may have a somewhat obstructed view.

The hotel location is right in the middle of Brisbane, with easy access to all of the central business district and transportation options. The hotel actually sits mostly on top of a shopping center, with check-in occurring on the 6th floor. The Queen Street Mall is right alongside the hotel. It is also a short walk to the riverfront area with good dining and shopping available.

For Hilton HHonors Gold or Diamond members:
Due to a train cancelation we had to book at the last minute. Even though we were staying "for free" using our HHonors points we were still given full amenities and privileges as if we were on a paid stay. This included early check-in, access to the Executive Lounge all day and free wifi that worked very well for 4 different devices (PC computer, iPhone and 2 iPads).

What a pleasant surprise for us to be able to book at the last minute and be so well taken care of. Kudos to the Hilton Brisbane!

Room Tip: Higher floors will offer the best views.
