I walk past and admire this beautiful building every week day. So I decided to book the tour for myself and some other work colleagues - we weren't disappointed. The tour guide was fantastic - entertaining, knowledgeable and friendly. The building itself is lovely and the renovations are tasteful and elegant. Highly recommend for locals and tourists.

Thank Lisa D

Went along to see what had been done during the multi million dollar renovations. We got tickets for the City Hall Tour and the Clock Tower tour. They are both free and there are several a day, but numbers are limited so you do need to get tickets.
The guide Zoe was lovely and very informative and enthusiastic. We learnt a lot not only about City Hall but about Brisbane too. We were able to see the structural restoration work that had been done as well as the revamped interior. It was a huge undertaking but has been sympathetically carried out without losing any of the historical integrity of the building.
Well worth a visit even if you don't come from Brisbane. Whilst there visit the Museum of Brisbane, the Clock Tower and Shingle Inn. On those rare rainy days all this for free has to be good. If you go on Tuesday you may even have the opportunity to attend a free concert.

The revamped King George Square in front of it is quite an interesting place since it joins two streets Ann St. and Adelaide St. which are at different elevations and you can walk from one to the other without encountering any steps. There is a nice little skating arena and a cafeteria complex for visitors.

Visited this place on the ANZAC day to see the parade march down Adelaide street. The atmosphere in the city doesn't get more central than this. The drum beats of the marching bands enlivened the surroundings and the great imposing City Hall building seemed to speak of its past.

Haven't they done a great job presenting a lovely old building in the heart back to a glory and usefulness it expected
