Best place to visit in SE Qeensland if you are looking for somwhere to see the animals of Australia just love amazing. I visit annually and its always a super day this time we took our children grandchildren and visitors from the uk and loved every minute of getting up close and personal to the animals. Its a super location good parking food prices are good as well $11 for fish n chips. Theres a lot to see and do. My fave. Support the Koala's !!!

Had a wonderful time with the family here. Getting the chance to cuddle a koala was of course the highlight, bu there is plenty more there to whet the appetite. And taking a break for a coffee with koalas all around us was really special.

After going to Featherdale Wildlife Park outside of Sydney, we were underwhelmed by this park. The kangaroos were a bit dirty, were quite lazy and subdued, especially compared to the kangaroos at Featherdale and the Australia Zoo, so I hope there wasn’t anything skeptical in play. There aren’t a lot of staff members (or any) in the open feeding areas so there were some children running wild, chasing kangaroos, and going into their marked off resting areas with no employees around to stop them. The koala hold/photos only happen 3-4 times a day and there are limited spots each time slot so several people were not able to do so. I did not get to hold a koala which was one of the main things I wanted to do while visiting Australia so that was frustrating and disheartening. I probably wouldn’t return to this park.

Thank you for your review.

It is important to remember that just like our domestic pets, there are many variables which may alter an animal's physical appearance even though they are of optimum health, such as age, gender, breeding seasons and mating behaviour, or climate conditions.

Whilst we do have wildlife staff and volunteers monitoring the 5-hectare free-range kangaroo reserve, your feedback will certainly be passed on to the relevant supervisors for review.

Brilliant place to visit. See all the Australian animals up close and in one place. Get there early ie opening time if you want to be sure of a Koala photo.

Thank you for your wonderful 5 star review. Home to around 70 different species of native Australian animal, there certainly is plenty to see, do, and learn about during your visit to Lone Pine.

I personally enjoyed seeing the kangaroo and koala because that what I came for . Nothing else special about the place but it’s still not bad for me as a tourist
