my husband and I stayed at the mercere north quay overnight to celebrate our anniversary. I mentioned it was our anniversary when I booked but did not expect anyone to remember it. On check in we were greeted warmly and congratulated on our anniversary. We were upgraded to a privilege room with great views of the river and south bank, free internet bottled water and chocolates Shortly after getting to our room we asked for a bucket of ice which was delivered swiftly. Not long after a complimentary bottle of wine and glasses were delivered to us. We dines at the restaurant on the second floor which was brilliant. The food was superb only one problem that the food came out Too quickly with bread/dips and entrees all out at once. No sooner had we taken the last bite of entrees and mains came out. Easy to forgive this when the food was so great. The room was very nice but would have expected a king bed in this room. The feather pillows were not comfy and flattened out but otherwise very comfy.

Was missing 1HD go, mate etc. adviertised that it had pay tv the only pay tv chanel was fox sports 1 &2, maybe a bigger tv and have more free to air channels. apart from that the view from the room was aewsome, the front counter service was friendly and courtious. Room was clean

I am glad to read that overall you enjoyed your stay. We are in the process of upgrading our channels to include the free to air digital stations and look forward to this being in place shortly. We did have a temporary problem accessing some of our satellite TV channels including Sky News and Fox Sports, these have now been rectified. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Parking was Terrible, not enough of it and difficult to get in and out of and expensive. Service was slow. My room did not appear to have been serviced fully. Probably won't stay in the Brisbane one again. Staff were nice though, particularly room attendant.

Enjoyable stay. Helpful staff. Small details, like clean bathroom doors and handles, could be improved upon. Why do hotel staff forget to clean the doors? Hotel a little tired but overall quite good value for money.

Description on website for a junior suite sounded better than actually was. Would not pay the full asking price for this room - but ok if get reasonable discount. Food served was good, nice surroundings in the restaurant.
