We stayed here after waiting too long to book accommodation for New Years Eve. We had a 1 bedroom apartment on the bottom floor and the price was not exorbitant for New Years Eve which many of the other properties in Brisbane were. Was a great location opposite Central Rail Station and just a short walk to Riverside where we celebrated New Years Eve. When checking in, it was obvious the staff were busy as at checkin, we didn't even receive a smile from the receptionist and our car sat in valet parking outside the hotel front door for a considerable amount of time. Our room was on the street level and we thought that it would be noisy being on this street level especially as it was New Years Eve but the bedroom was to the back of the apartment and there was no noise at all. In fact I had a great nights sleep here as there was minimum light in the morning into the room which is just what you want after a big night. The apartment was adequate for us and I am sure would be ideal for business people having to stay in Brisbane due to its close proximity to everything and the set up of the apartment (small kitchen, lounge and eating area). Would probably stay here again if our regular hotel is not available.

Room Tip: If staying in the week and you want to sleep in ask for a room on a higher floor to avoid potential...

We appreciate your comments following your stay on New Years Eve; you are correct, the hotel was full that night, and as a consequent, the valet parking would have been a little slower than usual. We hope we will see you return and stay with us next time you need a room in Brisbane. Thank you

Only stayed 1 night after attending the Brisbane International Tennis and Rendezvous proved to be an excellent choice. Perfect location, right across the road from Central Train station so returning after night tennis session was easy and safe. Good size room - we had a studio - and big comfy bed which I soooo appreciated. Didn't eat there so can't comment on food but staff were helpful when necessary and everything looked and smelled clean and fresh.

We stayed for three nights after New Years' Eve on our way back to New Zealand.
The location couldn't be better - directly across the road from the Central Air Train station which we took from the Airport (probably only 20 mins train ride from the airport). The Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the Maitre'd at Breakfast was lovely and made lovely hot chocolate.
The room is not overly large but comfortable for two and has a kitchen area with decent sized fridge, sink and microwave. The bathroom is elegant and had a good sized shower and French Connection toiletries which were a nice touch.

We couldn't believe how quiet the hotel was as we were on the first floor overlooking the front of the hotel and also the location is right in the CBD just a couple of minutes walk around the corner to the main shopping area (Myer Centre and Queen Street Mall) There are numerous 7 Eleven shops around the corner for cold drinks and snacks.

The bed was super comfortable with perfect pillows. We had a great night's sleep ready for the next day's adventure.

Rendezvous Anzac Square would be our first choice when returning to Brisbane.

My partner and I stayed here while visiting brisvegas for my brother's birthday. Could not have picked a better hotel. Great price, absolutely perfect location in the heart of the city opposite central station, friendly staff and a clean and simple room. Would gladly stay here again.

I stayed 2 night in this hotel in Dec 2012. I chosen this hotel because the hotel is opposite the central station and 5 mins walking distance to main street. The room and Lobby is Classic England Style, there is clear and comfort. There are cooking facilities in the room however no oven is provide. The staff is nice an helpful. There is a great hotel for business and leisure.

I think the hotel is basing the design on 'old world charm' it was comfortable, rooms pokey but ok, didn't have dinner there but breakfast menu (albeit I ate two pieces of toast and two glasses of OJ and was $22 that's pretty standard in the hotel industry but ridiculous all the same) we all accept that when its a work gig I guess but if we were paying, no way! The only drama I had was the shower, you had to run it for a good 5 minutes before the hot tap gave hot water and when it did we couldn't get hot and cold to give us a nice shower. If it wasn't scalding us it was freezing! And the other tip to note, don't let your partner go to the loo and flush the button she. You're in the shower if you don't want to be scalded!!

Thank you for your comments, although it is disappointing to learn of the problems you had with the water temperature in the shower, so please accept our apologies.

Could you please advise which room number you stayed in to dos.brisbane@rendezvoushotels.com so we can investigate and rectify. Thank you

My husband and i stayed here on a stopover, we had a one bedroom apartment, it was spacious enough and short stroll to Queen Street Mall, we arrived in late and it was nice to be greeted by friendly staff, my package also was a bottle of sparkling wine ( which was not there in our room) they have late checkout, for being on a busy CBD corner it was not too noisy. We stayed here because

Please do let us know if you didn't receive the sparkling wine – often we deliver this after guests have arrived in case a different choice is requested.

WE certainly hope we see you back here again soon. Merry Xmas.
