We stayed in Brisbane for 2 days after driving up and down the coast of Queensland for 10 days. We chose Royal Albert because it was right across the road from a big shopping centre and gave us the chance to pick up a few souvenirs to take home. It was great value for money because it was basically a one bedroom apartment with a mini kitchen, washing machine and dryer for clothes. The floors were wooden instead of carpets which suited my wife fine as she doesn't like the carpets in typical hotel rooms. There was also a taxi rank right outside to take you to the Brisbane airport.
