Although the rooms are small and the hotel is slightly dated I must admit it is very clean and I was impressed that when I asked for an iron and ironing board it was up on the 7th floor with a knock at the door within a minute.

On 1st impressions I was excited about staying here for a night, but once we got settled into our room it all changed.

The bathroom was stinking like someone had done a number 2 on the middle of the floor.
The room got very hot and stuffy, then once I went to put the air con on it didn't work at all.
So the whole night I was hot and bothered, and had a terrible night sleep.
We could here a constant buzzing coming from one of the locked cupboards in our room aswell, it sounded like some kind of electrical board or something.

So I wouldn't come back here again.

Stayed here for a business trip because it was in a convenient location. Checked in, handed over my AMEX, paid for the room and expected them to retain the details for charging meals etc., as does nearly every other hotel on the planet. Went and had dinner, asked for it to be charged to the room, told I needed a charge card from the hotel. Went to reception, was told I needed my credit card before I could be given a charge card. Told them to charge it to the room anyway. They weren't happy. Not my problem. In future, get with the 21st century. Take the guest credit card details on checkin so they don't have to be issued with a charge card. Also, get rid of those stupid little ironing boards that have to be laid out on a table. In a room this size, there isn't the room to mess about with these clapped out contraptions.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Stayed in the superior queen room. Well presented, clean and plenty of space. Close walking distance to central station, the mall and restaurants. Parking at the hotel was an issue. There was no drop off area and no clear signs as to where it was. The restaurant down stairs was very disappointing and let's the hotel down. We had breakfast included and we only had four choices including two hot and two cold. Customer service was bad. We had to seat ourselves, tables were dirty, not many serving food or clearing tables. If u can, go somewhere else for food. It wasn't that flash. Also hotel staff didn't care when staff in the restaurant were having trouble serving people.

Room Tip: Avoid bob option- u will find better food and service somewhere else. Superior queen room had plenty...

Good price booked via Internet. Just 300m away from Roma St station so no taxis required. Easy to locate on George St. From BNE airport, I took the Citytrain to Roma St station. Check in time is 2PM, I arrived at 8.30am but they upgraded me immediately at no extra cost. Room was available immediately. It was great to have room early after waking up at 4AM.
Rooms are new and good quality. Bed was very comfortable and toilet was very clean. Everything about the room was wonderful. Two extra pillows, iron, hair dryer, coffee making facilities available in room. Friendly staff and excellent service.
Good restaurant in ground floor. Great location to get to anywhere in Brisbane. I will comeback again! Real value for money.

Recently rennovated. No mini bar items just UHT milk, Small TV. Resteraunt not open on Sunday evening the duty staff member was unwilling to reccommend somewhere to eat. Luck I am ex. Brisbane and was able to use prior knowledge.

Room Tip: Try to avoid the first floor. The conference rooms are also located on this level.
