Our waiter, David was excellence personified !!!
The food was just amazing ! The taste buds were electrified !!! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
I have never experienced such an incredible menu, the combinations of the shared dishes as recommended by David were brilliant. Can not wait to return.

Absolutely outstanding dinner. The scallops were delicious.
The barramundi was the best ever.
If you haven’t been to Public you are missing a really special dining event.

We enjoyed it, interesting food, good service and a relaxed atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the jerk ham.

If you looking for somewhere good, but quirky with good food, you could do a lot, lot worse.

Public is consistently one of the best restaurants in Brisbane.Great wine selection,the service was excellent too.Would recommend this place to my friends.

See above. Food was very good, expensive-ish, but worth the price. You won't experience this menu at many Brisbane eateries. Wine list vastly overpriced. A bottle of Chandon $70. Surely Brisbane is past that. We all know what a bottle of Chandon costs at the local bottle shop. If you are going to mark up a drop, please make it something interesting we haven't heard of. It's very noisy, which creates a great buzz, but why jam couples clearly dining a deux cheek to jowl, when half the restaurant is empty and clearly no bookings are coming in to claim the quieter tables? Being asked to shift handbags so a large table could be squeezed next to us saw us decamping past the calm, empty tables we wish we'd been offered in the first place. Love the food but won't be back to eat there.
