An excellent evening in this small cafe/restaurant in the southwestern suburbs (Jindalee) of Brisbane, Australia. The food was great as was the service. A good variety of choices on the menu and the award-winning chef puts it altogether with a touch of class. Amount, preparation and presentation was first class. Our Beef Wellington was one of the best we have tasted (our son was a chef so we have had a few!)with fresh ingredients and the meat cooked to perfection (who needs a knife!). The Barista/Waiter was excellent in his attention, knowledge of the menu and recommendations. He was in charge of desserts which were also great! From the aroma and orders of the other guests, freshly ground and brewed coffee seems to be a speciality. This little gem is only 14 km from the centre of the city (or take the 450 Riverhills bus from Queens Street and a short walk) and well worth the trip. Mains are about $20-30 and good value.
