My husband and I stayed at this hotel to visit Brisbane Hospital. Easy 10 min Walk. Room was lovely queen bed and single bed, good shower. To our surprise it had a 2 burner hotplate, microwave, crockery cutlery and pans, and fridge, small balcony.. Everything was spotless. Restaurant was good, staff very happy nothing was too much trouble. food was good.
The staff at this hotel are excellent happy, polite and extremely helpful. Do yourself a favour and stay in this hotel you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be good.

Stayed only one night but it proved to be a most enjoyable stay. Close to RBH and Ekka grounds, the hotel is built around a historical site which gives the place a bit of character. Our twin room was comfortable and clean. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I dined in the restaurant and really enjoyed the experience - great food, service and reasonable prices. The hotel was a little hard to get to initially, but once we worked it out, the location proved to be very convenient for access on to the inner city bypass and Clem 7 tunnel. The only downside was getting woken up by a garbage truck picking up industrial bins just outside our room at about 5.00am. However, we are early risers so it was not such a big deal. Overall, we were pretty impressed with the place and the quality of service. We would definitely stay again.

Hi William

What a shame you were only able to stay with us for one night – we’d love to have you stay longer next time.

Thank you for the wonderful comments regarding our convenient location, our beautiful restaurant Va Bene and our awesome staff!! The garbage truck is bit of a thorn in our side so I apologise if you were trying to catch a bit of a sleep in.

We hope you enjoyed your visit to Brisbane and we hope to see you again soon.

Kind regards

We stayed here for one night while visiting Brisbane to go to the Ekka. The staff were great, the room was clean well set out and comfortable. It was a 15 minute walk to the show grounds along a well lit pathway. The bed was good, the pillows were a bit hard, but hey, there is no pillow better than your own! We had breakfast in our room and it was served piping hot and with a smile. Our room was quiet and we did not hear any traffic noise from the busy road outside. We will be back again to this great little spot.

Room Tip: Ask for a room around the back, it is really quiet.

Last minute trip to Brisbane because my daughter was taken to hospital while on a school trip. The hotel was close so it won by default. When I arrived the surprises started: great staff; I was greeted politely and professionally and when I explained my situation I was offered a discount (which I thought was very nice) and I was offered a quiet room. The room was great: clean, well presented and quiet. It was the bed however that sold me ... quite simply; it was one the best hotel beds I've ever slept in. It offered great comfort and support and after a 7 hour drive and 4 hours of hospital stress it was just what I needed. When things didn't improve as well as I'd hoped I was straight back there the next night ... different staff but the same great service, different room but the same relaxing night's rest ... I'll be back.

The only drawback for me was trying to climb over the high-sided tub in the bathroom. But that's what you get for getting old.

Room Tip: If you would like a quiet room ask for it. The staff are wonderful and will accommodate you is they...

Hi Done_Romin

First of all, we all hope that your daughter has recovered well after her trip to hospital, never fun when you’re away from home and especially not when you’re away from your family.

On the back of a difficult situation we’re so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that we could be of assistance.

Hopefully the next time we see you will be under better circumstances and thank you for taking the time to share your stay on Tripadvisor – we appreciate your kind words.

Came in for an overnight stay and to attend a meeting at the hotel next day. I had a room on the ground floor near the pool and was surprised to find I had a balcony and quite a large room. The hotel being on s main road I was pleasantly surprised to find the room was very quite.
The restaurant was quite good and the meals were within the expected price range. Breakfast was adequate, although nothing special. Our meeting was in the larger of the meeting rooms and it was exceptional with great lighting and access to ouside balconies. The food provided was as requested and the staff were helpful. It provided a great atmosphere for a constructive meeting. it eas
