“Comfortable suite, central location, best service!”
Reviewed 19 October 2011

We recently stayed at this appartment for our last two nights before leaving Brisbane. The first room we checked into had a leak in the airconditioning, but we let the management know and they arranged another room for us within a couple of minutes! What wonderful service!.

The original room and the one we moved to were both vey nice, comfortable, queen sized beds in the bedroom. Both bathrooms had lovely showers. Each had a mini kitchenette with a refrigerator, kettle, tea and instant coffee and mugs, glasses, wine glasses, etc.

The building itself is older, built in 1931 i believe, but charming and reminds you a little of visiting an eldelrly aunt. Our beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and perfect for the two of us. The suites and elevators appear to be well maintained, and the bonus of course was having a breakfast prepared for guest every morning ~ toast, yogurt, cereal, fruit, eggs, tea, coffee etc. My husband was thrilled to pieces!

The service was wonderful,so helpful, and would definitely recommend staying here to friends and would be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: Centre of down town core, so there is always something going on. World Rugby cup was on one night an...

We booked a 2 Bedroom apartment which was on the 9th Floor and with view down Queen, Street Mall. The apartment was very comfortable and had plenty euipment in kitchen to make staying a longer period very comfortable. There was a combo washing machine/dryer as well as iron etc. Full size fridge in Kitchen.
The arrangement for parking is great with Post Office Square only across the road, and costs $25 per day with any number of entries and exits. So close to Queen Street Mall and all the adjacent shops and department stores as well as all forms of entertainment. Beds are good and even though there is a lot of nightlife you are above the noise. Staff very pleasant and made us feel very comfortable. There is a terrific Continetal Breakfast included. Hard and soft boiled eggs plus cold meats and cheese, a wide variety of cereals, and fruits, as well as an array of breads -- more than ample to set you off for the day.
Would definitely stop here again and happy to reccommend to others coming to Brisbane. Only a short walk, about 400 meters from central Railway station.

Room Tip: There are only 45 apartments but all appear to be pretty good.

We had a 2 bdrm apartment, it was large & spacious. The bathrooms /kitchen were a little dated but were clean & well maintained.
The breakfast included was good, the breakfast room was a little too cozy (many tables cramped into a small room)
Overall it was excellent value for money, great location & there's a taxi rank just down the street so it's very easy to get around.

It is ok when you are in town for a couple of nights on business.
Clean and tidy, but during the day when all is revealed it is old and tired.
Oven knobs are broken, roasting trays are rusty and covered in tinfoil.
Signs everywhere pleading for you to conserve water however the shower and taps all leak and drip incessantly.
Apartment maintenance half done.
Energy light saving bulbs do little but enhance the darkness
Aircon more like airblow.
Front desk occupied business hours only and only 2 coffee sachets in caddy.
Nevertheless it is comfortable for dossing down between meetings.
Will i stay again.....no

The room was big and it is in a great location BUT don't stay in the weekend, we only saw one staff member when we booked in then we never saw anyone again. We went to check out and pay the day before we were leaving as we were leaving early in the morning only to find a sign saying no one is working in the weekend! There was NO house keeping or servicing for the 2 nights we stayed, we ran out of coffee, (there were only 3 anyway) sugar, (only 3) milk (only 3) and we had to reuse our towels as they were not replaced!!!!! We paid really good money for this room, over $300 NZ a night so I was really disappointed that we didn't even get our beds made or a clean towel. Maintenance left a little to be desired also.

Room Tip: take extra towels!

We would like to apologise to our guets for their less than satisfactory weekend experience. this definitely not the image we attempt to portray. Be assured that our management and staff work constantly to ensure our guests experience the most professional service and a comfortable and pleasurable stay.
Our reception is staffed to 4pm Saturdays and Sunday mornings. In addition a resident manager is on duty 24 hrs a day to attend to guests needs. Being an apartment hotel we clean all apartments weekly and provide services including fresh towels every second day. This fact is well publicised in all marketing material and arrival information. We apologise if this was not made clear on check in.and have reviewed our procedures to ensure this misunderstanding is not repeated.
At The Manor Apartment Hotel all guests receive a free continental buffet breakfast in our fully staffed European Style Breakfast Room open from 6.30-9.00am daily and is enjoyed by all.
Room supplies are generally plentiful and top ups are always suppied on request.
Please be assured, as is attested by many guest reviews, that we constantly strive to achieve the most satisfying stay for our guests.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Apartment was neat and tidy, although a little tired. Room was a bit noisy at night but most older inner city hotels are hard to keep noise out. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and location was great (50m from centre of town). Complimentary use of computer to check in to flights and print boarding passes was appreciated. Would definately stay there again.
