I went down to Brisbane to attend a couple of sci-fi events last weekend. I chose to stay at the Pullman because that was where the Return of the Smegheads convention was held. It is also very conveniently located in Brisbane. My room was beautifully presented, even the television welcomed me when I arrived. When I booked online I said I would arrive at 2pm but I actually arrived at 11.30am and there was a room ready. My only problems were that the receptionists didn't really give me clear instructions as to how to use the carpark and the view from my window was poor. Nevertheless, when I do go to Brisbane next time I would like to stay there again.

Sometimes the top hotels can be snooty, the Pullman Brisbane was so friendly whist still maintaining excellent service. Our room on the top floor had a view of the Roma St Parklands.
It was well equipped and bed was very comfortable.
The executive lounge was modern but not comfortable. the food proved for canapés while there was continued replacement it was boring only 4 options on the menu. Coffee machine was playing up. Sad it was the busy Australia Day.
You had to go through to the roof top pool at the Mercure. Nice but a rabbit warren to get there.
Breakfast w took in the main restaurant because of the lack of choice in the Exec lounge. Was excellent.
I left some earrings in the room on departure and they are found and mailed to me within a day. Well done. This hotel we choose for its central location. Right next door to the town hall which we tired and 10 mins walk from QPAC. Would definitely return.
