Very nice place in the Emporium development at Fortitude Valley with lots of restaurants to chose from right near the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful, room is very well equipped with Bose iPod dock/radio, aircon, safe, iron, fridge, microwave, sink, kettle, glasses, utensils/cutlery, nice clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom has shower only and comes with Molton Brown toiletries. Breakfast is not provided in the hotel, you can either go to the cafe next door or a better choice is probably buzz cafe which serves a great selection of breakfasts and is very popular. The hotel is a little way from the city centre (short taxi ride). I was in room 501 which looking at the floorplan in the hotel room appeared to be the smallest of all the rooms on the floor (maybe 502 was small as well); the room was big enough for me but just saying that rooms on each floor ending on 01 are likely to be the smallest. I'd go back here if I ever needed to stay in that area again.

A very comfortable boutique hotel in Fortitude Valley. Away from the fast and furious centre but close enough to walk if you want to go there. Plenty of good quality places to eat or have a drink nearby. Rooms are not huge but are comfortable and quiet. I've stayed here a lot and it is my preferred hotel to stay in Brisbane. Nice hotel bar with reasonably attentive bar staff who know their stuff. Good selection of spirits and champagne. Impressive hotel for a dirty weekend with the wife or husband or girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever. Dress up a bit for the bar as it is a good quality place with usually good quality people.

Room Tip: All good with a couple of small suites if you need the extra room or bed.

We stay here quite regularly and the service is outstanding, the staff are very helpful and friendly and it's good to see the same staff have been there from the beginning. The hotel itself is very cool and situated in the best part of Brisbane. It's so different from any hotel we've ever stayed at and the cocktail bar is fantastic, highly recommended.

Still as impressive as the first time we stayed many years ago. Emporium haven't allowed their décor to tire like most hotels, everything is still fresh and clean.
Its the little things that you don't have to ask for like a Lindt turn down service, water in the rooms and even a few bottles of water in our car when we checked out. You don't mind paying a little extra to receive "above and beyond" service.
The entire Emporium precinct is beautifully manicured and a pleasure to walk around.
We'll definitely be back time after time :)

super stay for us and our city-slicker family. We all loved the decor, the rooms and the service was impeccable. The location fantastic for a short stay in the area. When our room, which was fab, did not have a washing machine ( which is a great addition) we were upgraded without and fuss. Wlll definitely recommend.

There was nothing to fault at the Emporium! A very contemporary yet elegant atmosphere complemented by extremely comfortable beds, soft linens, marble bathroom with Molton Brown products and a modern, streamlined kitchenette. The service was very professional and friendly, the cocktail bar has live entertainment throughout the night and it was also very modern. You didn't have to venture far from the hotel to find a restaurant as the Emporium village had a great selection to choose from! I was wonderfully surprised and I will be back!

Great hotel for business stay or couples. Nice bar downstairs, great location with plenty of restaurants around. Good room service, well equipped gym. Very large bathroom and shower cabin. The only thing I could think of in terms of improving was spa and pool - the sauna was not warm enough for my taste, but perhaps sauna is not that common in Australia.
