As a regular stayer in Brisbane it a favourite due to its great location and fantastic service. The beds are the best and the quietness of the rooms still amazes me .Within such close distance of town , and major restaurants near by it is truly a one stop shop !! Love the bar downstairs for a pre or post dinner drink , this is the ultimate in service, service, service !!

After a long flight and you really want everything to go as smoothly and as easily as possible for checking into your hotel, the Emporium Hotel is the place. I arrived here in a bit of a state after a stressful flight which included losing my wallet in the Brisbane airport. The taxi ride is convenient and relatively close and once you step inside the Emporium doors, they are a welcoming, friendly and supportive, and efficient staff to facilitate check in and getting you into a comfort zone as soon as possible. Hotel reception is colourful and modern, the bar is very inviting and concierge staff are fantastic in being helpful and providing information. We arrived late and the Italian restaurant next door slipped us in before closing and dinner billed to our room. The rooms are beautiful with luxury bathrooms. Just outside the door are restaurants, bars and shops in a pleasant community. I will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I arrived at the Emporium and our bags were promptly taken to our room. Check in was fast friendly and efficient. All of the staff at the Emporium were helpful and dressed very neatly. The room was spacious, clean and super sleek with modern colours and furnishing. It's definitely the place to be! I really cannot fault this hotel at all it checked all the boxes for me. Easy walking distance to restaurants and also China Town, you really don't need your car. Thank you Emporium Hotel!

I recently stayed here with my husband for two nights.

Upon arrival Graham (from Concierge) was extremely helpful and pleasant - thanks for your advice!

The hotel itself is situated in 'The Valley' which is an easy $10 cab ride into the city. But there is really no need to head into the city, when James Street precinct is so close. It is an easy two block walk. There are plenty of nice shops and restaurants in James St. The hotel is also a part of the emporium complex with restaurants, but we didn't have time to eat in the area.

We had a King Spa Suite, which was great. Awesome room and amenities (coffee machine, bed turn down service, etc) but the spa itself was very small and uncomfortable. I wouldn't pay the extra next time. There is no view out the windows - but maybe that is Brisbane!?

Also - easy to get to and from the airport.

Overall, great location, great staff and great room = great time!

I would definitely stay here again.

The website of the hotel looked fantastic and I was Very keen to satay in a king spa. The staff were accommodating and went to every effort to ensure at I got the room that I wanted. The spa was amazing however the views do the room overlooked Harvey Norman shops :-( not the best view. You were not able to open any windows for fresh air which left you dry in the mouth in the morning. The price for the room was 360 per night and I was amazed that breakfast was not included. This was raised with staff and they advised that the only breakfast offering was either room service or the coffee shop next door and that in room breakfast was not included in the price. Ended up checking out with just a takeaway coffee.
On the plus side - comfortable bed, wide range of pillows and friendly staff. I'm not sure that I would stay again - Spicer's Balfour is much better value for money as it had a bath, luxury room, quality service and breakfast!

The only down side was that I didn't get to stay here long enough to really enjoy the hotel and it's swank location.
The rooms have everything you need-sound proof, beautiful plush bed and pillows, decadent decor, marble bathrooms complimented by Molton Brown toiletries & complete with washing machine. Mini bar, dishwasher and espresso machine, my only diss appointed was that mine didn't work :(
Surrounded by boutiques and restaurants and in the heart of the valley.
