My sister and I had walked from Southbank over the Goodwill Bridge through the City Botanic Gardens to Eagle Street Pier and were looking for somewhere to eat lunch on a Sunday. We saw Madam Wu had a lunch buffet menu at $40pp which included a few favourites such as pork belly and duck and we weren’t disappointed. The food was very good and the service too.

My family ate here for lunch on a Saturday and we were all very impressed. The service was very friendly and efficient our waitress was very knowledgeable and just lovely. We ordered the $65 banquet which was sensational. Plenty of delicious tasty food. My favourite was the chicken wings followed by most amazing smoked ocean trout salad.

If you're in Brisbane, make sure you book here as you won't be disappointed.

Went to this restaurant after a day out at the Gabba. The restaurant is located near the river in the heart of Brisbane. Asian menu with quality food. Had to wait quite a while for a table (not unusual, apparently) but the food was served quite promptly. The service was OK. The choice of quality product was impressive and the price is not at the cheap end.

I stopped here for a business lunch last week. Location is great looking out across the river

Service was spot on and the food can only be described as incredible.

The chicken ribs are incredible and without doubt the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted

Beautiful autumn day, wonderful riverside location, amazing food and service. This was Madam Wu restaurant Brisbane last Sunday.

We looked for a family friendly reasonably priced restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day and discovered this wonderful restaurant.

Despite the Restaurant being very busy we were welcomed and seated promptly. Staff were delightful and attentive. We decided on the lunch banquet menu which apparently is offered daily.

Despite the name Madam Wu is not your traditional Chinese restaurant and offers modern Asian cuisine and a spectacular cocktail and wine list. The banquet included a delicate salad with finely sliced salmon, chicken ribs, steamed duck buns, braised beef cheek, poached Barramundi and wok stirred greens. Dessert was an optional extra our party couldn’t resist the banana bread, banana parfait, they’re still talking about it a week later. The timing of service and attention to detail was perfect.

Madam Wu you’re on the list for another visit. “To the people food is heaven”
