Truly authentic French restaurant. They focus on quality and are only open Monday-Thursday. Service is ALWAYS impeccable and food is simple and delicious. The chef and owner is lovely and friendly, usually coming out in the middle of service to say hi to the customers. Beautiful place to go for lunch or dinner. In the few years since I've discovered Montrachet, I've seen the same staff and they are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Desserts are yummy and surprisingly affordable too!

The advantage of lunching rather than dining at Montrachet is there is only one sitting, so you can relax over a long and enjoyable lunch. The food and wine are excellent, the wine (imported from France by the owner) is exceptional value. The refreshing aspect to Montrachet are the staff; they are permanent, not casual, and they know their food and wine. You have one waiter or waitress, which is a pleasant change from other restaurants where a procession of different staff pass you from one to the other. If I had time I would go there every week!

Have been here quite a few times. Never had a bad course never mind a bad meal. Service is always fantastic and it would appear the staff stay forever as well. Book in advance and its closed on weekends. My favourite Brisbane Restaurant and I eat out a lot through work.
Couldn't fault it.

We had the 5 course degustation dinner and we're not disappointed. Waiter was very attentive and knew his stuff about french cuisine and wine (which was also wonderful). A little pricey but well worth it if you're looking to splurge for a special occasion and enjoy a real fine dining experience. Would recommend.

We have visited this restaurant a number of times over the past few years. It is an excellent French restaurant.

This time I had the fish dish which at the time, was coral trout. absolutely superb. Great presentation and full of flavour. Usually We do not have a starter so to nibble while we have a cocktail we go for an amuse bouche, the roquefort brulee. The tang of the blue cheese with the sweetness of the burnt sugar is a great combination. My wife had the crumbed veal with is alos a great meal. Washed down with a Nuits St George Pinot Noir made it a heavenly meal.

We finished with a coffee. Can't wait to visit again. Not open Saturday nights.
