So...my family and I went to Brisbane for a holiday and the obvious first things to do is to get a plane ticket and book a place to stay. After the accomplishment of the first task, came the time of booking a holiday home. We searched and searched for the perfect one,but each one, always had it’s own little imperfections. Finally we found it - Kedron cottage, the perfect one - or so we thought. Of course we knew it was a little on the small side but it was practical and rather cheap. Alright, enough of the yammering, let’s move on to the pros and cons of the cottage!
~ Reasonable price
~ Good location
~ Fairly clean
~ Basic cooking utensils only
~ No appropriate eating area
~ Nothing but a tiny box of milk in the fridge
~ The sofa bed(yes, there is a sofa bed)was extra lumpy
And also the owner did not come personally to pass us the keys and things got pretty confusing. Remember that I am not personally attacking the owner/s of this cottage and this is all based on my experience. I really hope you find this helpful:)
My husband and I stayed here for 13 nights in August, 2017. The cottage is in the back garden so very quiet, and totally self contained, full kitchen, range, washing machine. Beautiful large deck area. We just felt at home here right away. Close to shops and restaurants, and a very large shopping center only minutes away by bus or car. Also very close to the airport and a short bust ride into the city. We would, for sure, stay here again. Pet friendly also.
