My wife, sister and I did this trip yesterday and it was a great day. All the crew were friendly and jovial and nothing was to much trouble. The boat and pontoon were clean and all there equipment was well looked after. They had a whole bunch of extras you could do from scuba to snuba to helmet walk to helicopter rides and more. And the buffet lunch was as much as you could eat. If you are looking for a boat to do the REEF on you won’t be disappointed if you go with Reef Magic.

We had a fantastic day at the reef. Four adults and two kids and all of us found fun things to do. We really enjoyed the snorkelling and the glass bottom boat trip.
Very nice staff, great lunch - in total a perfect experience!

I can't recommend highly enough for anyone any age or ability. We were 4 ladies, 1 70+ year old, 1 adult snorkler, 1 adult scuba diver and 1 22 year old in a wheelchair. This combination of people would have been a challenge, but start to finish the crew on the Reef Magic made our day exceptional! Special acknowledgment to Jeff who even helped carry my niece on & off glass bottom boat, semi submersed boat, snorkel boat, etc (due to her physical limitations) with such caring & kindness!
We really liked the fact that it wasn't crowded or rushed. I'm told they r locally owned and operated and offer smaller crowds than their competitors. The setup out at the reef was fantastic. Lunch buffet was delicious and way better than we expected. Overall a 5 star fantastic experience!

Thank Julie S

REEF MAGIC CRUISES: Solid 5 star! Originally I assumed all the up-selling was a bit obnoxious. But frankly, I am SO glad that I signed on for the additional "SNUBA" activity! This is like a really low key, low stress, super cool, introduction to scuba diving (but without all the gear) -- and you only go about 3m down. People, people, people. It was like a religious experience. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Truly a life changing experience (I'm actually getting scuba certified now as a result of that experience!). And, as lame as this is going to sound, the fish actually, truly, look as vibrant and colorful as those in the movie Nemo! Thanks to THOMAS my wonderful instructor/guide. He made it fun and easy. If you do NOTHING else in Cairns, or QLD. YOU MUST DO THIS UNDERSEA ADVENTURE. Reef Magic is locally owned and operated (contribute to local economy!). Don't be a wussy and just bob around with a snorkle on your face (although that was pretty cool too! :-) Pay the extra bit and go under to see the unspeakably beautiful marine life, while it still exists, in the miraculous Great Barrier Reef! So. Very. Worth. It. (Oh, and don't be a cheap ***** -- buy the pics of you and Wally (a giant Maori Wrasse who will swim right up to you) for fifty bucks. They'll make you smile for months after! :-)
