“Awesome - Fun and Interesting”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

A great evening activity to do before heading out onto the reef. It seems a little pricey at $18 but the instructor was very entertaining. He also was a marine biologist who clearly had significant experience on the reef and knowledge of the animals that call it home. Made our dive trip far more interesting...and also was helpful in passing along an idea of what to make extra efforts to avoid contact with.

“Be prepared for your lifetime adventure - take this 2 hr show!”

You will not be disappointed in the presentation - indeed you will want to get right out there to see this amazing environment! One of the key tips is to slow down and really see the various life forms that inhabit the GREAT Barrier Reef.

“Indispensable information - teaching and science in a fun way”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

I don't really know the right order, but here's my gutt feeling: Gareth is
1. not only a great entertainer,
2. but also a reputable scientiest
3. and someone who knows exactly what he's talking about.
He turns ocean biology into the most exciting thing in the world. You go to Reef Teach, and your dive becomes a completely different experience to what it was before. Thanks a lot, Gareth - keep going!!!

“Fun and knowledge about the reef”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

This was just great! It's a two hour class on what you can expect to see on the reef. Best done the evening before your day at the reef.
Very interactive, you can touch and hold on to specimens,
I only got charged 10$ because I came in at the second half.
By going here, I was able to recognise fish, sea anemones and giant clams that I saw while diving and snorkelling. It's awesome!
