Wes booked this before trip out to Oz. Super place with pool, BBQ area. Good rules for all to abide by. Super choice for breakfast, but no other dining. Staff would help you with anything....brill! Booked trips to Great Barrier Reef here & Kuranda Trip, all reasonable priced, staff showed good knowledge of everything. Eat out at the local RSL club, or at Cock & Bull, value for money. Stunning esplanade here.
Thanks to all staff for making our trip to Cairns super.

Three of us enjoyed staying at the Coral Tree Inn (we had 2 big rooms with kitchen) for 7 days. Hotel have great location, nice and clean rooms and bathroom. We were on the
second floor with nice view. Pool is really nice but we don’t have time to swim. Lovely grounds in the courtyard. We felt the front desk people all were helpful & friendly.

Great Value for the family of 4, there were bunk beds for the kids, everything was clean, good size room, very simple, nothing fancy, A/C. Cinder blocks for the wall, rooms were sound proof from this. Price well for the budget family. You do have to carry your suitcase to the second floor, nice pool and BBQ area. Walking distance to eating and shopping,
10-15 minute walk. Staff is very friendly, can book your tours. The kids were able to scuba dive because it was an introductory dive rough "Seaquest" (excellent staff and good food). You have to wait 24 hours before you can fly. Saw the oldest rainforest in the world, The Daintree, saw crocodiles to Cape Tribulation through "Tropics Explorer".
In town they have a food court. Looked at a lot of places and I
would higly recomend this place.

Four of us enjoyed staying at the Coral Tree (we had 2 rooms). Great location, clean, nice bathroom. Cement walls. Good sized rooms. We were on the ground floor and could eat in the lovely courtyard. Nice pool. Lovely grounds in the courtyard.
We felt the front desk people all were helpful & friendly. We did the Green Island excursion that came with our room booking and thoroughly enjoyed the island.

We were in Cairns for 4 nights, and were greeted very warmly, which was wonderful after a 25 hour train journey from Brisbane. The staff were some of the friendliest staff we encountered. They went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable, and when our tour buses were late, took the initiative to find out what was going on. The hotel itself was clean, very quiet, and generally just a pleasant place. The pool area was very inviting as well, not to mention the delightful breakfast they serve. Will for sure stay there again on my next visit to the beautiful city of Cairns!!!

Stayed 4 nights. Room very clean, comfortable, quiet, safe. Very good value. Walking to downtown takes 15 minutes to the night market and main shopping. The Esplanade is very close. Public park in front the hotel.

This a very good value for Cairns. We stayed 3 nights in April 2007. It's pretty much your ordinary motel,
but I found the enclosed courtyard and pool quite attractive, and we had a ground floor room just off of it. I never
noticed whether they had an elevator, though, so I wouldn't have liked being upstairs if not. The room is
cinder block which might be off-putting to some but I didn't care. There was a fridge in the room which
was nice - you might want to bring some breakfast stuff since they charge $9 a person for the basic
cereal-and-toast breakfast that you get free at the B&B's. The front desk staff were not as overtly
friendly as we found most Australians but they were helpful whenever asked, and arranged our bookings
to all the tours we wanted (I think all hotel in Cairns do that). A bit of a walk to the central
shopping/eating area - maybe 10-15 minutes - but that just meant it was quiet at night. The front desk
isn't manned during late hours so you have to come and go through the security gate, but that was
easy enough. They have laundry facilities, coin-operated. We did have one little issue with the cleaner who
said she didn't make the beds because we had left things on them! Huh? On the whole I would probably stay here again.
