What a great stay here and highly recommended. The resort is quite large. It has a huge open air check in area with a small gift shop. The main restaurant looks out onto a large lagoon style pool. The food was very good. There are several pools, a main patio pool bar with TV, pingpong, video games, and other game machines. The pool bar area also serves fast food. The grounds are densely and lushly landscaped. The rooms have a 2 couch sitting area, flat sceen TV, and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, sink, and 4 person table. The bedroom is separated with another TV and large bathroom. The accommodations are very clean. The resort is a little off the beaten path. It is not walking distance to the harbor or lagoon area downtown in Cairns, but because of this much more affordable. I would gladly stay here again!!

We booked this hotel during an Accor 50% off sale so our double room & breakfast was $45 a night which was an absolute bargin and much cheaper than hostels etc in town.

The room was a decent size, unfortunately all the king size rooms were in use so they put us in a double with single bed room. The bathroom was dated but the shower was very powerful. All in all the room was very comfortable and a better option than the hostel rooms we'd been looking at in town.

The tropical breakfast was good ~ fruit, cereals, toast, cheese, ham, croissants filled us up every morning and we ate at the poolside cafe one evening ~ $15 for a pizza.

There were 3 lovely swimming pools surrounded by tropical gardens.

The only downside was the location ~ very far from the city centre ~ the hotel provided a shuttle shared with another hotel $4 each way. It wasn:t until our last day that the staff mentioned a 3 day pass which would have been cheaper. As the shuttle was shared with another hotel it sometimes was very busy and had to do 2 runs back from town which meant long waits.

Room Tip: Make sure you are not located behind the poolside cafe as this was rather noisy in the evenings

No its not the top of the range hotel in town, however it is brilliant value, our rooms was breilliant with a king size bed, quality flat screen tv, New aircon. And breakfast to boot! value value value. .... lots of facilities we didnt have time to use but we will be back! I have paid more in Cairns and got considerably less!!!

Room Tip: All ground floor, one pool is open 24/7

As a business traveller I was not happy with having to drag my bags hundreds of metres and up stairs to my room, when I arrived late at night after a long flight. It took me 4 minutes each way, walking at a brisk pace with no bags, to get from my room to the restaurant and reception. 8 minute round trip for a business man is a pain. When I went for dinner, even though the restaurant was half empty, they told me to come back in 40 minutes as they were too busy.
Good place for a holidaymaker with a car, cheap but slow for a businessman.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate all comments. I am sorry you found the walk through the beautiful gardens inconvenient, the team would have been happy to locate you closer to reception.
