When you arrive on a morning flight, this is a great way to see what's in Cairns. This is a small tour group where you get to know other travelers. You enjoy a guided walk through the botanical gardens, see the lower section of the Barron Gorge National Park, and the Palm Cove beach. Don't miss the delicious scones you stop for 1/2 way through the tour! Our guide, Eric, was wonderful.

i first went on this tour in 2011 when i was travelling with my sister to see our brother in melbourne. as i had been to cairns once before in 2000 i just had to come again as it felt like 'coming home'. it was so informative and entertaining i wouldnt have missed it for the world. afraid i cant remember the name of the guide but he was brilliant and we had some good laughs. adored the cream tea and the views from the lookout. went to cairns again in april 2013, this time on my own, and booked again. was told it had been taken over by another company so was a little apprehensive about whether it would be as good. i shouldnt have worried as it was fabulous. this time it was a lady guide who was lovely and as there were only 7 of us on the tour she made it feel more personal. i am hoping to go to cairns again in the next year or two, health allowing. and will not hesitate to book with them. maybe even twice. lol. good luck to them and i hope they go from strength to strength but still maintain that 'personal' touch.

Thank you for your wonderful review, I took over the company in May 2012 as I had previously worked for the owner for many years and couldn't resist when I knew the business was up for sale.
I am very proud to now own this wonderful product and continue the tours to the standard you had experienced. Please let us know when you visit with us again,

Roger is a great ambassador for Cairns. Great knowledge if you are into history or botany. Scones were great as was the outback opal mine. Wonderful windows in St Monica's. An exceptional value-for-money tourist experience.

Right in time we were picked up. The driver an enthousiast young lady, (Helen) - explained the day: Picking up others, driving to Mossmangorge and then direction Cookstown (not so far!). OK, with a nice car - for 8 persons we went. We made a stop in Mossman for loading our lunches - then to the gorge. Helen was fabulous. She knew a lot to tell. Ver good. Passing the ferry along the road we stopped for the coffee - again Helen lais somewhere a clothing on the table, for coffee and fruit. Up higher on the road wit nice views to the end of the paved road. Here we stopped for a short walk on the beach. Beautifull! - We returned the same way. Along the way we stopped for lunch on a very, very nice spot - in the mid of the rainwood - Again Helen prepared a very fine lunch we all loved. Driving further bach we crossed the ferry again and went then on for a rivwercruise. We were lucky to see crocs and birdlife. There after again a short drive to a place where we changed the bus for a 4-D jeep. Now Helen drove really as a professional: up to a hidden lake with a beautiful waterfall. We stopped and the swimmers could shout for very, very large fishes! Lucky Helen was there to help with some fishfood so the swimmers could come out safe.... Then up for the return trip, we arrived appr. at 6.30. pm after a very, very good day. A worthwile trip - you should do yourself and ask for the guide Helen....

Eric took us to places we wouldn't have found on our own. He was a mine of information on all things Cairns. A most enjoyable afternoons sightseeing with cream tea too! Highly recommended.
