Nestled among the trendy sidewalk cafes and tourist places, it's easy to walk right past Oasis and not even notice that it's there. It's small and, although primarily a take away kebab shop, there are about a dozen tables and chairs on the foot path. I ordered the Big Breakfast for $16 (the average breakfast in the area is $18-$20) and it certainly didn't disappoint. It came with a cafe latte, glass of orange juice, 2 fried eggs, 2 huge slices of toast (4 halves), 3 sausages, a pile of bacon (the menu lists two pieces), baked beans, grilled onions and half a grilled tomato as well as a small serve of hash browns. Presentation and quality weren't anything special but (think typical low end cafe) but there was plenty of it, it was hot and tasty, and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast is served until 12 noon (I think) and kebabs, etc are available 24 hours. If you're not looking for anything fancy and just want an inexpensive, good quality breakfast or late night snack this is the place for you!
