Our family (married couple and two young adult children) stayed here for 3 nights in early September; we were assigned unit 601 which is a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath unit with full kitchen and laundry. It appears that most of the units in the building are privately owned and just a handful are rentals. From other reviews it appears the quality of the rentals is variable; 601 was nicely decorated and maintained, and the only downside was that it was on the street side of the building with no harbor view. We selected this place mostly for its location and were not disappointed -- the hotel is an easy walk to the harbor area and the Esplanade. Check-in is handled through the Park Regis next door so we didn't see the staff much, but the people we dealt with were friendly and efficient.
There is no on-site restaurant, but there are several just down the street (including a microbrewery that I'd recommend) and a large selection of restaurants at all price levels within walking distance. It's also an easy walk to a large Woolworths grocery store.More
