We stayed here for over a week in August. We received excellent directions on how to get to the property, which is essential because access is via a narrow one-way street. The house was in very good condition, but has an odd layout. Essentially, there are two buildings with the kitchen in the main building. The bathroom and lounge areas are spacious, but the bedrooms are a bit small. That said, you will likely spend most of your time outside. The only reason the bedroom size was an issue for us was that we were traveling with a 6 month old baby and it was rather cramped trying to fit a crib into either of the bedrooms. The location is fantastic. You are right on the beach and a very short walk from the local bar/restaurant and a swimming area. Some of the best fish and chips are have ever had in Australia are also a short walk away and conveniently located next to a bottle shop. The only downside with being on the beach is that random people seem to think that they can just walk up and sit on the furniture out front whenever they feel like it. The neighbourhood is both quiet and friendly and as long as you have a car, it's very quick and easy to get to and from Cairns, the airport and local shopping. We are hoping to come back when our son is older.

We just had the pleasure of staying 3 nights and were so pleased by the house. It went above and beyond our expectations.
We stayed here for a few days at the end of January 2015. The place is located on the beach and is in a good position to travel to excursions.
Its lovely and clean and caters for all needs.
I would highly recommend a stay here.
The owner emails you a pack of directions and other useful information which is very handy.
