If your happy to take a short drive from Port Douglas and not be right in town, this park is by far the best value for money we have seen on our travels. Personal lockable ensuites with brand new plumbing, huge kitchen with great clean cooking facilities, shady sites, beautiful near by roads & houses (great for a morning walk or bike ride) and friendly staff.
Thanks Glengarry, having some personal space in the bathroom was exactly what we needed after sharing bathrooms for the last few months!
My only con was that Sandflies are around sundown and sunrise so get your spray out!

The "GREEN SEASON" is often dramatic, wildly beautiful and eagerly awaited by our tropical rainforests. Without our annual rainfall, there would be no rainforest and, as many visitors discover, our 'Liquid Sunshine' doesn't usually interfere with diving, snorkeling or touring. The climate is seductive. Balmy days dissolve into tropical evenings. The tropics are a feast for the senses whether we have summer showers or warm sunshine during Winter. If all this is not enough, only 40 minutes drive to the south is Cairns with its shops, movie theatres, restaurants and beautiful Esplanade lagoon. ... more less
