Had dinner at the Yacht Club on Sunday night. I had steak with pepper sauce which was delicious. My husband had the mackerel, but although it was very tasty there was not much of it. Possibly because of the cyclone, and normal supplies are disrupted. The location was lovely, and it's worth going early and seeing the sunset. Beautiful. It was very busy, so you should probably book.

We were recommended to try here by other guests staying at our hotel, and we were not disappointed. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The location alongside the river is great with either open air or under cover dining.

Every Wednesday the yacht Club provides free sailing trips at 4pm you must be there. You will see a skipper and you can either bring your own booze, buy them a six pack and bring some snacks on board. We had bought a six pack for the skipper but then he didn't drink so it was a free sail trip. and we had the beers to ourselves. We then headed to the yacht club for dinner after the sail trip and it is good to do that to support the free sail trip and yacht club. I had the special it was fish Nanagi fish it was okay it was dry and over cooked it came with french fries that were already frozen in a package so not homemade and steamed veggies. The meal cost $19.00 I would not get that same meal again I would probably not eat there again just because the food was not that good. I would rather buy a six pack and give it to the skipper than pay for a $20 meal and not enjoy it.

Mozzys everywhere and the location is pretty because its on the water with all the boats.

Laid back place. We did not have dinner, only drinks. Lot of locals. Easy going. Nice spot to view the inlet to the river. If ( very) lucky, you might spot a croc. Several are living up the river.
