Stayed only 1 night but would recommend for longer. Great Motel style accommodation - with kitchen facilities. Spacious, clean rooms. Very friendly management. Good posi. Very reasonably priced. Good value. A little out of the village centre but close enough and easy distance to the beach.

Great, affordable place. Aiden and Alex couldn't have been friendlier or more gracious and helpful. Communication was easy with them from the beginning. They suggested restaurants and booked excursions and our bus transport back and forth to the hotel.

The room was immaculate and had all the basics we needed. We made good use of the saltwater pool.

The absolutely gorgeous Four mile beach is a ten-minute walk from the hotel. Town is a 20-minute walk, but there is a shuttle you can pick up right outside the hotel if you prefer.

So much to do in the area - I wish we had spent less time in Sydney and more in Port Douglas.

Look no further. This motel has it all and at an affordable price. Aiden couldn't be more helpful from assisting in a close to midnight check in until we left 10 days later, to suggesting places to visit AND we he next saw us asking how it went. Greeting us by name suggesting places to see and eat best deals to even cashing in our loose change before we left.. Housekeeping staff friendly and helpful again nothing too much trouble. Definitely suitable couples and families. When we go again will certainly stay there.

I stayed for a few nights on a short solo trip to Port Douglas. Aiden was extremely friendly and helpful with arranging airport transfers, tours and restaurant/bar advice. 20 min walk to town. Quiet and safe location.

We booked this hotel for a three night stay trip to see the Port Douglas area including the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Forest. Although located on the more southern part of town, it was still within walking distance of the main shops and restaurants. - about 20-25 minutes. Out host, Aidan was wonderful. We arrived early but he had us wait about 20 minutes and we got our room early allowing us to fully use our day in town. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was a housekeeping room with a microwave. You can arrange for the continental breakfast through the hotel for about $10/person/day or stop in town to pick up some bread or fruits which we did. They provide coffee and teas and you can also purchase from their in-room bar fridge for drinks. The pool is small but just right to cool down after a day in town. You can walk to the Four Mile Beach within minutes. The Bottle Shop is just up the road. Aidan arranged for shuttles for us from both the Cairns Airport and locally into town for evening dinners.

Hi FirsTimer1, Thank you so much for your review and we are so glad that you had a great stay. As we are about a 20 minute walk to town, we do price our rooms accordingly. And just like you did, most guests spend what they haven’t spent on a room to go out and enjoy the reef and the rainforest, two great world heritage sites, on our doorstep! If we can accommodate an early check in, we do our utmost to get you in to your room as soon as is practical. Thank you once again for your review and for choosing to stay with us. And thanks for the chats and updates on your adventures while you were here!
Kind regards
Aidan & Alex
