Great place to stay, close to everything, lovely rooms, has everything you might need and a great view of pool and gardens. Great Japanese restaurant n bottle shop close by and 800m to the main st. Staff were also helpful and friendly.

The Reef Club Resort provided everything that parents wanting a real break with young children need. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, which was great when we wanted a relaxing night in or a quick meal. The only minor gripe would be that the toilet needed a proper clean and the seat was in need of replacement. The spa products were lovely and reasonable if you needed to purchase extras. Being walking distance to shops and restaurants kept us more then accommodated. The best part was the incredible location to the beach which was key to a successful trip with children wanting explore and run about. Our children loved the pool even though it was freezing due to undergoing repair on the solar heating. Still a great place to relax and enjoy the gorgeous surrounds. Kids loved looking for lizards and geckos in the gardens and the coconuts on the ground were a hit. Lauren was a pleasure and very helpful with organising our tours. Upon checkout Finn was just lovely also. I would certainly recommend the Reef Club Resort and would definitely stay there again!

Our room was quite dark but overall our stay was fantastic. Handy location. Great base for our port Douglas adventure. Close to beach and about 10 minute easy walk to start of town. There is a bus for $3 each which we caught home most nights.

We found reefclub great value and better than we expected. A short walk to the beach and Macrossan Street where everything happens. We stayed in Unit 3 on the ground floor and were super happy. It was close to reception and near the carpark, and quiet. I'm coming back later in the year a festival and will definitely request this room again. We didn't need a car as everythings so close, and the bus is at the door. It had said sleeps 4 but has a sofa so could sleep 5 comfortably.

The Reef Club Resort is the perfect blend of location, price and comfort. Our 2 bedroom apartment (#44) on the second floor overlooked the pool. It was very comfortable with a neat kitchen (including a full size fridge). The pool was great and best of all was the location: 2 min walk to the beach and an easy 10 min stroll to Macrossan St.

It's not a 5-star resort, so may not suit people looking to be pampered. But if you want a great, relaxed holiday in a nice place where you can afford to stay longer, the Reef Club Resort is an easy choice.

We stayed here for five nights and had a great time. It was incredibly cheap (Groupon deal) so weren't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. The place had a Mediterranean feel to it and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Good location too!

This was my first time to QLD and I stayed here with my two teenage daughters back in December. We had a top floor which did take a little effort with our luggage, but I just looked at it as my daily exercise. Everything in our apartment was lovely and I was more than happy with the facilities. I would recommend this place and would stay again. If you are not prepared to climb stairs, ask for a bottom apartment.

Room Tip: Room 21, overlooks the pool and is on top floor, but if you have kids in prams or cant climb stairs...
