Turtle Cove is half way between Port Douglas and Cairns and as such it is remote enough to feel like you have your own private slice of paradise, but close enough to the attractions of tropical Nth Queensland. I originally booked for 3 nights and decided to stay for a week. I was surprised to be upgraded from a Garden View room to a beachfront villa.
The room was beautiful and well-equipped and had views directly to the beach from your bed. The beach is basically private. Queen "B" and all the other staff made for a fun and relaxing week. I would highly recommend a trip to the cove...anytime in the year!

Room Tip: Ocean front suites are exclient and that include with small deck a short walk to the pool and beach...

My sixth time staying here - from New Zealand. Fantastic place to relax, enjoy the beach, meet new people, drink and eat.Queen B and the Staff are great, I can't fault the place. This place suits singles, couples or groups. In the middle of the bush right on the coast with a beautiful private beach. If you want to enjoy a holiday in comfortable surroundings then this is the place for you. However if your more into glamour then maybe stay somewhere else!

Beautiful secluded beach. Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. The communal table is great is you are travelling on your own as you will always meet new people.
Nothing luxurious in the room but they are spacious and the sea view is great (from deluxe room).

A delightful location on a beautiful Coral Sea sandy cove. This was my third visit, my partner's first. On arrival we were delighted to find we had been upgraded to a beachfront room (the hotel being relatively quiet the days we were there) with a welcome bottle of chilled bubbly waiting for us in the room.

The rooms and foyer area have been refurbished since the last visit (2011) and look great. The room was very clean, comfortable, well-furnished and had air-con. Bert and the staff made us feel so welcome and were so very helpful, for which many thanks to them.

It's just the best place to relax and mix with good company.

Room Tip: All rooms are good with Coral Sea views.

Beautiful hidden little gem, so relaxing it's like escaping your reality, the only down fall I think is the limited menu for dinner and breakfast there is only 3 options for dinner and were around the $31 mark and all three were something I don't eat, breakfast was just cereals etc which I also couldn't eat as there was only full cream milk no skim.
The spa is alway good fun off a night if your into some hot group action.

Turtle Cove is half way between Port Douglas and Cairns and as such it is remote enough to feel like you have your own private slice of paradise! We stayed the first week of April (a quieter time) and were surprised and delighted to have an upgrade from a Garden View twin to sinle beachfront villas! Thanks so much to Management for this!
The room was beautiful and well-equipped and had views directly to the beach from your bed! The air conditioning was delightful and the recent renovations are obviouse and welcomed!
The beach is basically private and you may, at times have it all to yourself! The beach itself is one of the lovliest in the country! (Just beware of the stingers in Summer months (having said that we had no problem at all!)
The staff and the Sand Bar and restaurant did not fail to please: friendly service and delicious cuisine.
I would highly recommend a trip to the cove...anytime in the year!

Room Tip: Choose a beachfront villa for uninterupted views of the beach and sunsets! The gardenview rooms are...
