“Relaxing & Quiet”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

We have just had 2 weeks in paradise! Whilst I was initially disappointed with the size of the pool and some minor maintenance issues; I soon became happily chilled out and relaxed in this very quiet and family friendly environment. A lot of that had to do with the gorgeous family running the show - great advice, lovely attitudes, beautifully behaved children. You guys make this place special! Great value too for this area, will be recommending a stay to friends and family. By the way, pool ending up being perfect, never crowded due probably to 12 apartments only!

Room Tip: Room 12 has a more private sitting area, surrounded by greenery and no one going past. Back of Motel...

Had a fantastic time and the accommodation was perfect. We had our family and a friend staying and the set up couldn't have been better for us. The hosts were wonderful and nothing was a problem. The kids loved it and had a great time. Hopefully we will get back there for another holiday. Thanks guys for being great hosts and helping us to relax and not stress about the kids misbehaving:)

Room Tip: All the rooms seemed to be located really well. I don't think any one was better than another.

You could not ask for better. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which had loads if space, fully air conditioned, all apartments had great access to pool. Tania and Damian went out of their way to look after every aspect of our holiday. They had fantastic local knowledge and were able to help us choose the best reef tour to suit our family, plus guided us with tips on how to get the most out of our day trips to Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge and Kuranda. Great location, easy walk to beach and town. We did hire a car from Cairns because it was much cheaper to pay for car hire than to pay for transfers from Cairns to PD, also it meant we could self drive to Cape Trib and Kuranda saving a fortune on tour costs.

Could not pick a more helpful couple as damian & tania to help us enjoy a great holiday having travelled from uk to meet up with our grand children, son in law & daughter thanks to you both. The tropical nite is a 15 min walk to port douglas center & harbour 5 mins walk to ghe beach & has a great pool that we could not keep the kids out off.

We've just spent 9 nights here with our extended family (4 adults and 3 kids) and couldn't have asked for better accommodation. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was the perfect setup. The whole complex is centered around a beautiful pool amongst the palm trees. There is an excellent all weather BBQ and outdoor table in the pool area which we used on several balmy nights. Everything is very well maintained and the apartments are spotlessly clean. Damien and Tania are very friendly hosts.

Our whole family including our two young grandchildren and family friends had a perfect week in perfect Port Douglas with perfect hosts Tania and Damian. Beautiful, quiet boutique accommodation, a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to town. We loved the tranquility of the spotlessly clean units and the fact that it was smaller and personal. Tania's and Damian's advice and suggestions about the attractions was spot on, and our trip to the Great Barrier Reef was unforgettable. We plan to go back annually, we live in Warrnambool and the flight from Melbourne is very doable. Thanks so much Tania and Damian, we're recommending Tropical Nites to our colder friends and family.

Room Tip: All rooms are in an excellent position, there are no rooms with a bad view.
