You feel as though you are dining in a rainforest in this visually beautiful restaurant! The service is impeccable and food was picture perfect, every dish was delicious. I loved the whole coral trout, so yummy! A wonderful night with friends.

Billed as one of the top restaurants in this tiny, tiny town which is not a huge feat. The food was good (tho the dessert fell short of anything but mediocre and was barely touched), but the service was awful. There are several places that are as casual---several patrons in shorts/t-shirts on a Friday night, which I'm sure they don't like, with both great food and great staff. Definitely opt for Zinc, Two Fish, On the Inlet, Harrison's and skip this place. Food is good, but on par with places I've eaten at for the past 10 days in Australia!

What isn't there to love about this restaurant. The setting is special, the service impeccable and the menu is divine? If you don't appreciate this experience then you need to get a life! Sure it's a little more expensive but this is such a unique dining setting, spoil yourself.

Nautilus is ranked as one of our favourite restaurants. We visited on one of our trips to Port Douglas on the recommendation of a family member who actually proposed here.

Nestled in the tree tops, my partner and I arrived earlier than our booking and were invited to sit out on their balcony where we enjoyed a couple of cocktails. We were then escorted to our table which was situated underneath the treetops.

Our waiter was very attentive and maintained the professional line of assisting us when required and allowing us our private time to enjoy our food and chat.

The food was phenomenal. As expected with such fine dining, the prices reflect the quality of the dishes. If it means eating cheap for a few days to afford such an expensive meal, do so.

We were aware of the no child policy however there was also a no mobile phone clause on their menu. We were quite thankful of this when a tourist behind us began to take phone calls on his phone. The waiters were prompt in chatting to that member and he was informed he needed to turn off his phone.

Keep in mind, you are seated outside and therefore I would suggest you keep an eye on the weather forecast.

In summary, it is expensive, exclusive and worth every penny.
