“Great Tapas and Sangria”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

I was up here visiting friends who invited me to visit this restaurant,as it is one of the favorites of the locals.
I must admit to having an addiction to the crocodile croquettes on offer.Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They were divine. I also ate a very nice seafood Paella served on a small Paella dish. It was very tasty.
The Sangria went down very well too.We had 4 Tapas dishes to share ,plus mains, plus desserts.
At the end we were absolutely stuffed, but at the same time savoring the lovely flavors of our meal.
Would I recommend this to anyone else? Hell yeah!!

“Casual dining, children friendly.”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

The menu is children and vegetarian friendly. We ordered a selection of tapas plus a paella to suit a vegetarian. As with all the restaurants we tried in Port Douglas, very child friendly with toys, pencils and a children's menu. The service was a little slow on the night we were there. However, this was due to the chef overcooking our paella and having to start over. We were compensated with a complimentary carafe of sangria and a tapas plate. The crocodile croquettes are very good and a real hit. Overall a good experience without a great experience, good value for money.

“Good Choice in Port Douglas”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

Seabean has a lovely selection of dishes. Offers something different from other restaurants in Port Douglas. From novelty Crocodile croquettes to more traditional offerings. Fritters were lovely but thought the Chickpea salad was boring. Need to strengthen their flavours. Lacked the ambience of a Spanish Tapas restaurant. I give this place a good rating because it is value for money.

“Tapas galore”
Reviewed 23 July 2014 via mobile

Had an evening meal and ordered a range of tapas. All were very nice, tasty and full of Mediterranean flavours. Highlight was the fish brandade and zucchini. Friendly service and nice setting. Dessert signature dish is the creme brulee served in a coconut. Nice presentation but probably not the best creme. A nice dining experience.

“Newbie waitress didn't ruin the night!”
Reviewed 23 July 2014 via mobile

Excellent value, food and service. New waitress's was very nervous and unsure but she checked everything and made sure we got our order as we had asked. Yummy food and the boss did check in to make sure all was ok. Highly recommend for a quick delicious dinner :)
