Deliver a basic product at the highest price possible is probably Paradise Inn's credo. It is a real rip-off for what is delivers. Rooms are very basic and old and they kind of smell unpleasant. Better wear slippers in the room since the filthy looking carpet might bear all kinds of things. The bathroom and shower are old too, they do their job and are +/- clean, but not that pleasant either.
Dont even think about sleeping before dawn because this propertyl is good for young party people who gather with booze around the filthy pool and come home at 4am making big noise.
Location-wise it is on a highway and about 30min walk to the closest bars and restaurants in Surfers Paradise.
You cant pay by credit card here, cash is king.
By the way, the Crown Plaza is just opposite on the other side of the street and if you can affort this bunker, you can surely add they AUD10 price difference on top.

Easy basement parking, short walk to Surfers, Broadbeach, Main Beach, restaurants and cafes.
The room was cheap and just the basics, which served a purpose- bed and shower.
Overall, the motel and pool were clean, with nice friendly service.

This is the worst place we have stopped in Australia!

There was dust and cobwebs all over the ceiling, the tap didn't shut of and was dripping all night, even when the door was shut, there was so much give in it that someone would easily have opened it, the lock on the door was hit or miss as to whether you can lock it or not, people walked past the room at night being quite loud and the free Wifi didn't work.

On a more positive note, the motel staff were very kind enough to put a jug of water in the fridge for us - although the freezer part of the fridge was broken and the fridge was turned up so high - the water was frozen in the jug. Thanks for the thought though!!!

We originally booked two nights but only stayed one night. We cut our losses as they have a no refund policy - now we know why!!!

Definitely not a place to take children, those with a heart condition or anyone who has any standards.
DO NOT STOP HERE!!!!

Booked via Wotif when we decided to stay a bit longer at easter. Booked because yes it was basic but had a nice looking pool, restaurant and advertised air con.

On arrival we were told they didn't have our reservation and they were fully booked. I showed paperwork and they gave us a room key - hate to be the last to arrive!
NO AIRCON as advertised - just a ceiling fan. Room was very basic and old but generally clean. Door did not feel secure at all. View was of a construction site.
We requested a cot for our infant son and were provided quickly with a protacot that had no base - so our son would have had to sleep on the bars!?!? I asked about the base and they said thats the way it comes. Our son ended up sleeping in the double bed with us.
The worst part by far was this is a party place - there was excessive drinking, swearing, yelling, fighting and even nudity outside our door ALL night! We did not feel safe and i spent the whole time stressed one of the drunkens were going to come through the door. We could not use the pool as they were all hanging around and were very intimidating. Needless to say we quickly left.
Unless your 17-18...pay the extra $20-30 and stay elsewhere!

Booked in for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. The room was pokey, smelt odd and the doors didn't seem overly secure. There was 3 of us staying and none of us could connect to the advertised free wifi. But after a couple of cockroach sightings we decided to just checkout. It was cheap and I wasn't expecting luxury. But I wouldn't recommend the Paradise inn motel to anyone

After checking the web site I booked a room for myself and my adult daughter and was quoted $130 for the night. On arrival we were told the room for 2 was no longer available because of an over booking but they would give has a room for 4 at the much discounted price of $150. I was then asked to pay cash as they could not accept cards! Well never take the key to room 15B if it is offered to you... Room barley big enough to fit the 2 single beds and bunk beds in, air conditioner set on 17 deg and no remote to change it, TV (smallest i have ever seen) with no remote and no knobs to adjust volume, which was so loud that almost blew us out of the room, or channels (Therefore NO TV for US!) Then after a night our we arrive back to our secure car park to find our park taken and no others spare, we were then told "Oh well if it is full you will have to park out on the street"
The ceiling had a large hole in it above the toilet, mirror a very hazey brown sort of colour that you can barley see in, no bins in room or bathroom and by the next morning the fridge was so cold (probably from 17 deg air con blowing on it all night) every thing was frozen rock solid! Room adjoined room 15A, but they may as well have been in with us as you could hear EVERYTHING! BUT .. the beds were clean and quite comfortable if that is any help.
