Rising a sheer 230 meters into the sky, SkyPoint is one of the Gold Coast's most popular attractions and has become a must see destination for locals and visitors alike. It provides stunning 360 degree panoramic views that stretch from the surf to the hinterland and beyond and provides the perfect location for visitors to experience the shimmering Gold Coast skyline at night or take in views from Brisbane to Byron Bay during the day. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal from Seventy7 Cafe and Bar as you spot whales migrating along the eastern coast or as a new storm rolls in. SkyPoint Observation Deck is a must-see for all Gold Coast visitors. With unrivalled 360 degree views from the coast to the hinterland, mini-theatrette and informative feature zones and displays that provide all the information you need to plan your holiday hit list. By night, SkyPoint Observation Deck transforms into a chic, high altitude lounge bar with music every Friday and Saturday night and Sunset Sounds on Sunday afternoon. Enjoy drinks and delicious platters with friends and take in the glittering skyline. SkyPoint Observation Deck is an 18+ venue on Friday and Saturday night from 8pm.

“Fear of heights”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Don't worry it's enclosed.
If your staying at the Q1 then do the sky lounge meal book through reception at 77 for 20 bucks and you get a free sky entry as well otherwise I think the 40 plus bucks each is a bit steep. The lift races you to level 77 in seconds. It's an iconic building on the coast and you get the big views.
People from the southern cities would think 77 levels low rise and overseas peeps half height of Malaysia and Dubai

“Amazing views”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Super speedy lift whizzes you up to the deck, which is glassed in floor to ceiling, the views are spectacular and you can go round 360 degrees. There is a lovely bar serving drinks and coffee and a really relaxing place to spend an hour or so just gazing at the views, loved it.

This observation deck must have one of the best views around. We have enjoyed spending some time walking around and taking in the views.

“Great to waste some time”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Staying at the Q1 apartments the observation desk is great if you just want to waste some time. The downside is the rather steep entrance fee. If you are a local I would recommend the $32 annual pass as it allows unlimited entry.

I was disappoint in the upkeep of the observation deck though as the outside windows were in desperate need of a wash. Also if you are looking at taking night time photos expect a lot of glare from bright lighting.
