Had a fabulous day out with Reef Ryder!! The crew were friendly, helpful & informative... Snorkelling was fun, with plenty of different fish to see!! Learning how to Paddle Board was awesome.. The lunch was brilliant, lots of variety & plenty of it! Thanks for a great day out :)

The beach isn't anything special compared to the main beach at Surfers Paradise. The snorkelling was very disappointing as the water wasn't clear, and we saw just one type of fish. However, the crew was friendly, provided us with many equipment to play on the beach. But over all, the tour is overpriced and not really worth that much.

We had such a lovely relaxing day cruising the waters around Surfers Paradise and then snorkeling on a little island. Our children played cricket on the beach with the organisers and other people on the boat while we relaxed on the beach. Lunch on the boat was lovely. The entire trip was well worth while and a great experience for the family.

We recently went on the Reef Ryder day cruise which was good value and a fun day out. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable and the boat was quite nice and clean.

We did not come for the snorkeling, we came to enjoy the island. We were expecting the island to be a little more impressive than it actually was. It was just a narrow strip of beach. You couldn't walk anywhere except on the beach as the rest of the island was thick scrub. If you're not snorkeling then I wouldn't recommend this at all. You also have to swim or be ferried over to the island in a dingy. If you don't want to get wet, you can stay on the boat.

Once back on the boat, a buffet lunch is served consisting of prawns, BBQ chicken, lots of salads and sauces. The food is good quality and you're encouraged to come back for more. If you like prawns, you'll have a field day. Afternoon tea is served on the way back consisting of a fruit platter. Nice.

If you're after a nice day of snorkeling and a relaxing cruise on a boat, this is the trip for you. As we have been on the Tall Ship cruise previously, it was hard not to compare the two and the Tall Ship cruise certainly takes you to a much nicer island with a BBQ lunch. It depends on what floats your boat really.

We travelled as a family with a 10 and 12 year old. The crew were very friendly and helpful with the kids and my big kid as well lol My husband got to jump off the side of the boat and yahoo with the kids. They swam ashore which was a great experience and overseen by a crew member on a surf ski in case it was too much for anyone. They catered for old and young alike as there was a couple of 80 year olds on board. I personally loved the snorkelling and feeding the fish from our hands. The children were so excited, we definitely intend to go back and take our own loaf of bread with us. The food was lovely and we have already recommended this trip to others. Thanks again team! Brendan and Lynne
