“Wow...Perfect!”

This hotel is fab! The decor etc is amazing! Room is spacious, clean, and comfie bed. The breakfast buffet is amazing...so much to choose from (a bit pricey though) The location is good...10 minute walk to center of surfers, is a lovely walk along the esplanade.
Only negative point was the noise levels of outside, although we were on the 18th floor, we could hear every car eccelerate, horn etc.
Overall, beautiful hotel in good location

Stayed here for a work conference. While there were a couple of hiccups on check in and not receiving some work items the overall feel was fantastic. Great bed for a great sleep, food was good and plenty of it, particularly breakfast. Staff service and attitude was genuine, prompt and friendly. Close to the beach and a great walk to Surfers. Overall a fantastic experience.

Not the usual place for our sales conference. Pleasant surprise though. Great food. Great service. Had an unsatisfactory bit of service at the Stingray Bar but it was handled so well on check out (ALL drinks refunded, phone call from manager that day to discuss and apologise). I travel to lots of hotels with more stars than QT and some of them could learn from their service attitude! I will be back - would be great for a family or business trip. Comes recommended.

Love the décor throughout the hotel - the rooms, lobby and bar were all a treat and the lots of quirky little touches make a great impact. The room was smart, clean and comfortable. The welcome chocolate 'note' was delicious. It's a good location within easy walking distance to the beach and the heart of Surfers Paradise as well (whilst not being right in the centre of Surfers which is a really good thing in my opinion). My only criticism would be the service in the Stingray Bar was a bit hit and miss, some staff very friendly and efficient, others were obviously not very well trained.

This hotel visually looks like an extension of how I've decorated my home - I loved the unique chairs on every level where the lifts were!

Visual highlights aside, check-in was ok. The guy could have spoken up a little so I could hear what he was saying... but I arrived at 11am and got access to my great room right away. It's great that the room had so many cool things that you had the option of buying. Was a bit surprised to find that one of those things was coffee! Coffee, even if it's Nespresso, should be complimentary in a hotel.

The Bazaar restaurant was hit or miss. While breakfast and the options on offer were amazing, and the staff were friendly and helpful, I visited the Bazaar on recommendation for dinner and was left feeling shortchanged. At $72pp for the dinner buffet I would have expected the steak I ordered to be bigger than a small piece of bread. I realise I could have ordered another, but wait another 15 minutes?? No.

In all though, I really loved this hotel and think it it is still finding its feet in a coastline of hotels.

Room Tip: The ocean view rooms are an extra $30, but I had a room on the 17th floor and watching the sunset ea...

Stayed here for a conference for 5 days! Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms are very clean and spacious! Very retro trendy hotel! Food in Stingray is good. Room Service food is poor. The standout is the breakfast is is amazing! The choice is second to none, there is nothing you I'll wish for! Location. To the each is fantastic, a short walk. When the tram service finally gets up and running for the general public it will make everything much more accessible! Nice place to stay.

My husband and decided to book 2 nights , with a free upgrade to ocean view. Also had 2 for the price of one breakfast.

On arrivals about 4pm we were asked if we needed a hand with our bags. The desk told us that they were was a island life party happening in the stingray bar, that we were welcome to join. Free cocktails and canapés .
We went to drop off bags at room and went down to bar. Amazing service and lovely friendly people.
Later we went walk into surfers and down the market stalls. Great locations. So easy to walk anywhere.
The room was very nice and clean. Down side the water pressure was very bad.
Breakfast was amazing. So much to choose from. Bit pricey at $32 each but we had 2 for 1.
We did mention for the desk that our water pressure was very low and they moved us. Em went up to the top floor. No balconys on the top but amazing views.
We had a snack in the stingray bar. Amazing nachos.
Wh booked a message at the spa. Amazing. We had use of the steam room before hand. So relaxing.
Massage were great too and not too bad a price.

Why didn't use the outside hot tub as it was a little chilli but it all cry clean and tidy.

Great place to stay. Look for specials...

Room Tip: Views are amazing all round. Check the water pressure before you unpack. Look at specials.
