We had originally planned a 4 night stay at this resort after booking online and seeing the great rooms and facilities...boy weren't we disappointed upon check in and seeing our room. The room was out dated, broken furniture, small TV, spiders in the room and a note in the room letting you know that due to the climate of QLD bugs in the room are an often occurence. Never before have I seen a notice like this is any hotel/motel I have stayed in. One of the pools was green and the two other pools were small with one slide. We decided to eat at the resort and ordered pizza.....we all ate one slice and that was it as it tasted like cardboard and was over priced. I spoke to the the girl at the front desk and told her we were not happy with the accommodations and would be leaving the next morning due to the above reasons. She seemed a little embarassed but was very understanding about the situation and shortened our stay to just the 1 night. We then headed to a fully self contained unit in the centre of Broadbeach that was actually cheaper and of far superior quality. They say the kids club at the resort is great however for a couple of hours baby sitting service the sacrafice of a poor qaulity room and facilities is not worth the price.

We chose to stay here for the kids club facilities. Our 2 & 4 year old thought the resort was great. They enjoyed the playground and swimming pools. We had booked a package with the kids club included but the pair of them were scared to go into the underground area so we didn't make use of it. They much preferred the outdoor playground. Although it was the kids pick of the 3 places we stayed at while on the gold coast, it definitely wasn't mine or my husbands. After reading reviews on this establishment after I'd booked, i changed our accomodation from 5 nights to 2 and to be honest if i'd had to sleep more than 2 nights on that lumpy yet hard 'roll in the middle' mattress i would not have been a happy camper. The room was adequate, the interior of the buildings and restaurant decor was in need of a 'jjjjuuushhhh' (is that how you spell it?). Don't buy food there, crazy hotel prices as you'd expect. Our buffet breakfast at Sinbad was expensive and pretty gross - much cheaper healthier yummy food at the cafes in town. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. If you aren't travelling with kids, this place is defintely not for you.

I have seen this motel on the internet but always preferred to stay at Labrador. It was a last minute decision to have a holiday and I got the resort from the travel zoo website. The room was such a great price. Reservation staff were great, friendly, efficient and helpful. Check in staff the same. The hotel was clean and smelt nice. We dined in the restuarant for dinner and breakfast and were so impressed with value for money, food quality and comfort. The staff in the dining room were fun, helpful and just really really nice people. The Polynesian show was absolutely beautiful! My girls just loved it as did I. I loved that they got the guests involved. The pools and playground were great - my kids loved it. The only negative thing I have to say is that we were kept awake by a very drunk man yelling and singing at the top of his voice after 10.30pm that was having drinks at the bar. I thought staff should have asked him to quieten down and respect other guests. Would highly recommend to anyone and would definately stay there again.

We stayed for 5 nights at paradise resort, for a good price. Our kids, 2 boys aged 2 and 4 loved the kids club. We loved the fact that we could then have some time to ourselves. Our littlest one was not old enough for the older kids club, but they allowed big brother (4) to stay with him in the younger childrens room. They wanted to be together. Room was pleasant enough. I think for the price was paid, you wouldn't expect much more. Also manages not to put too big a dent in family budget. Well located, can walk to most things, or get a transfer for theme parks. We will return.

The staff we came in contact with were fantastic! approachable, helpful, and friendly. The facilities offered also fantastic and great for children 9 and under. The Buffet Restuarant (Sinbads) was great and handy if don't know where to dine or too tired to go anywhere, yummy food and wide variety to choose from at a reasonable price. Pancake machine was a hit for our family!! I was however a little disappointed in the room (for the price we paid) it is in need of an upgrade and a good clean!! in corners, walls, drains, the carpet needs shampooing or something and bathroom needs attention its old and worn out grouting was disgusting. Walls are thin so noise from hallway doors slamming, kids screaming in hallway, was an issue if wanting nana nap during day, not sure if would want to be there when busy!

Paradise Resort was the perfect place to stay for our first ever family holiday , From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome , the room was lovely and clean and very child friendly.
The service at all the restraunts, bar and reception were amazing and staff were always more than happy to help out with any problems we had .
The Kids Club was just fantastic , our kids could not wait to go there ,they made numerous friends and loved the Staff, which gave my husband and I time to relax and enjoy the holiday aswell. The kids also spent much of their time in the pools and on the water slide.
We found the hotel was situated in a great location only a five minuite walk to Cavil Ave and not a long bus trip to theme parks .
We look forward to visiting Paradise Resort again soon !!
