I recently went on a girl weekend away and we booked a dinner, breakfast package. The room we were given was ocean front.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and nothing was to much bother.

We were worried on arrival that it was going to be average because the colours were very dated but we soon realised this was not the case.

The room was clean and had a great view. The food was incredible..

The location was to far for us to walk to surfers so we caught a bus directly outside the hotel. We decided to get a cab on the way back and this was approx. $9.00.

We had a great stay and will definitely be coming back for another visit

Room Tip: I would definitely ask for an ocean view room and check out the current packages as this will save y...

At the end of August my husband and I again settle for a four day stay at this hotel. Once again it met all our expectations. From the time we arrived there were welcoming staff, the concierge remembered us from the previous year. We were allocated a suite high up with ocean views at the Broad beach end. A card and welcome back gift awaited us on our kitchen bench. Once again the rooms were spotlessly clean, the comfort of the bed was fantastic as was the leather sofa in the lounge area. The balcony at the front provided fresh air, delightful views all with the sound of crashing waves. From the bedroom window there was a wonderful view down the coast and across the hinterland, the hinterland view even more sensational from the large bathroom windows.
The hotel has very attractive well kept grounds, green lawns, tropical plants, two swimming pools and a delightful chapel that is set in the garden area.
We enjoyed meals, breakfast lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant, all being of good standard with staff to match. We also enjoyed a room service meal one night. The service and the food was excellent. The presentation of the tray was set up like you would expect at a five star
restaurant. The friends who joined us for this meal were most impressed. A pleasant speaking lady from room service took the time to call to make sure we had everything we needed in the way of plates and cutlery. We did not eat at the revolving restaurant as we had done so the previous visit and we were not impressed however for overseas or interstate guests you may well feel the fantastic views of the coast make the visit to the revolving restaurant worthwhile.
The hotel grounds are very well kept, beautiful lawn area, tropical gardens, pathways, two swimming pools and a gorgeous chapel.
The frontage of the hotel is on the main highway where there is a regular bus service. There is also a bus service that runs through the back street, just a short two street walk from the hotel. This service is a two stop ride into Broad Beach shopping centre where there are a host of restaurants, it goes onto Pacific Fair and beyond. In the other direction the same service will take you into Surfers central and onto Sea World. The hotel is a walkable distance to the beach and also Broad Beach for those who are fit. Love this hotel and as long as it keeps up the great service we will continue to visit. Thank you Crown Plaza Surfers Paradise.

Room Tip: Love the views high up Broad Beach end ocean facing.

We had a very hectic weekend of meetings and functions organised and wanted to stay in a location that suited all the events.
This place was perfect. It is easy to access all areas on the Coast; it is quiet; it has very friendly and obliging staff (we needed access to the business centre in Sunday and it was no problem).
The room was very good; clean; smelled fresh and contained all the pampering ammenties.
Although we were too busy to take advantage of the pool and the restaurants, these were well patronised with smiling people.
The beach view was so calming for us when we returned home; a cold glass of something on the small balcony in the moonlight and we were relaxed again. The beds gave us a peaceful sleep and our early departure from the parking garage did not disturb anyone.
Would recommend this place to anyone on business or just as a place to relax and hit the beach.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a beach view. You wont be dissappointed

The room was very clean and service was great, views were wonderful. The restaurant was fantastic with great food and with great company. Walking distant to the beach. The pool and spa area was really nice with gardens all around. All up it was very relaxing and the night lights was a great view.

We stayed for 3nights with our 17mo. baby. We are very happy with our overall stay at Crowne Plaza. We had a nice ocean view room, spacious and very clean. Service at the hotel is very good as well. Location wise it is nice very close to the beach but we are okay with that as we drive down the beach all the time. Overall, I will recommend this hotel!

Hi Mel P,

Happy to hear that you had a very happy stay with us recently and that you enjoyed our view, the room and our service. We aren't situation right on the beach, we are about a 250m walk to the beach, and our rooms do have fantastic ocean views. Being slightly out of Surfers Paradise we have less interrupted views of the ocean we find. If you loved the view, make sure you check us out on Facebook for some great pictures.

Thank you for choosing Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise and for taking the time to leave us with your feedback.

Kind regards,

I tend to come up at least a couple of times a year, when my partner comes for work. We always get a reasonable room with an ocean view. The bathrooms are lovely and staff make sure the rooms are beautifully clean. The restaurant/bar is lovely, staff always have a friendly smile. I like the location, a little bit out of town. I know it's been a bit a struggle for business's up there with all the construction of the light rail, so restaurants tend to come and go. My only small complaint is my partner will stay in excess of four times a year, but still has to explain he is a frequent visitor and has filled out all the relevant paperwork.

Room Tip: The second tower is quieter.

Hi Kate L,

Thank you for yours and your partners continued support of Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise and for taking the time to leave us with your feedback. So glad to hear that you're a fan of our location, please slightly outside of the centre of Surfers Paradise and of our friendly staff. The Light Rail construction has taken a toll on some of the business along the Gold Coast Highway however, we are quite fortunate as the majority of that work has now passed our hotel and has moved into the centre of Surfers Paradise. We can now see the tracks and some of the stations are constructed down this way already which is very exciting for a 2014 launch.

I'm sorry to hear about your partners frustration in regards to having to complete paperwork on his visits, however it is a requirement that all guests, on every visit, fill out a registration card and provide us with identification and credit card details. Without knowing exactly what paperwork you are referring to, we also recommend booking directly through our website so that you are linked directly to your profile on file with us, as we cannot guarantee this will happen if you book with a third party site unfortunately.

Please contact us directly if it is something you would like to discuss further that we might be able to look into for you.

Kind regards,

Victoria

Selected the two double bed room as a mystery hotel deal. Well worth the chance. Close enough to walk to Surfers or Broadbeach hubs. Room was big enough, plenty of light with a fantastic view of the ocean and the hotel pool area/gardens etc. Try the Crown Club sandwich, yum. Parking is underneath the hotel. I would definitely go back.
