Awesum location - old building. Rooms look a bit tacky n old. Furniture is also old , worn out n dingy.. Only thing we like is the pool spa and ocean views from the room.
The carpark was dirty and smelled of sewer.
The staff was pleasant and friendly.

The only positive about this budget accommodation is its prime location.
Don't book this place based on deceptive photos, the room we got was no where close to the quality of "fancy" rooms pictured.
The rooms are very disappointing; old, dated and hot & stuffy, especially during the warmer months as there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms.
Booked a room with queen bed but was given double bed & staff member argued that it was a queen bed when clearly it was not. Refused to move us to a different room.
The lifts are so small, can barely fit 6 people let alone with trolleys full of luggage. On check out, had to wait for some time as each time it stopped on our floor, it was always full.
Reception staff are arrogant & brusque when dealing with enquiries, not particularly helpful.

Great place to stay if you are on a budget. The hotel is ideally placed in the middle of the strip and is literally a stones throw from the beach itself. Great parking facilities, great overall leisure facilities including outdoor pool and spa baths. Also has a sauna!....Th bedrooms are a little tired (the one we stayed anyway) but to be honest, youre not there to stay in your room!....The beach view room (which we had) was exact to its word, we had a superb view of the beach and ocean.
Reception staff very friendly and helpfull. All round goodie! :)

Room Tip: Always go for the ocean view rooms!

This was a mothers day surprise trip to the Gold Coast booked with a tight budget in mind. Having stayed at other expensive resorts in the area we were extremely pleased to discover a family friendly resort in a great position that offered real value for money. We had an ocean frontage room with spectacular views from every room, even the loo!Watched the sun come up over the ocean from bed and then went back to sleep! The rooms were very clean and tidy with a relaxed, beach feel .Perfect location with shops and restaurants at our door. Kudos to my hubby and kids for finding this amazing place. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay !

Very well situated in Surfers Paradise and the front rooms had a spectacular view even from the bathroom. Simply cross the road to go to the beach. There was a good pool and spa and there was a good games room too. Reception staff were helpful but the place is more like serviced apartments than a hotel so that is the level of service to expect. Note there no air conditioning so it could get a bit hot in summer.

We've just gotten home from our 2 night stay and already can't wait to be back (September hopefully!)

The views from out hotel room couldn't be beaten anywhere in the world. I wanted to spend all day just staring out at sea. No balcony but big sliding doors as windows to the view and a railing, so we openened the doors and pulled up chairs to enjoy the endless view of both the city and long stretch of beach.
The room itself was big but pretty basic, clean and good value for money. We didn't use any of the kitchen facilities as there's so many close options to eat out but looked as though it was in good working order. The bathroom was small but reasonable as well.
The hotel facilities were great, big clean pool area and I'm not sure if the pool was heated but it was a very good temperature to swim in (not to cold). There was also a few spas, which meant there was always one free to enjoy. Also a tennis court with free racquet hire although it was flat concrete so pretty hard on the feet but good for a quick hit.

The location was perfect. Everything you could possibly want was in easy walking distance including the bus stop with bus to the airport and to the theme parks. Also supermarkets, lots and lots of great food and a big shopping centre with great shopping. The beach is literally 20 metres away.
We had the buffet breakfast at the cafe downstairs one morning which was great value for $15 with heaps of options, good fresh food.

One small negative with the friendly service was that one guy we talked to was obviously new and foreign, and had no idea of answers to our questions about local services such as the bus and closest pharmacy. Should probably have someone who's knows what they're talking about working on the reception.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't really want to spend to much time at the hotel, but to use as a good base for exploring surfers paradise. Although you may get caught up watching the view.

Can't wait to come back!!
