“Large cheap meals - great views!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 May 2014

Went on. Tuesday night - they had $6.95 meals (steak, fish or chicken snitzel) with chips and salad for $6.95! The meals were huge and we are big eaters! Offer for Monday and Tuesday nights.

The cheesy garlic bread to start was piping hot and delicious and the wedges for one of the kids was huge as was the other child's bowl of chips.

Great value in a great waterfront location with plenty of parking. Bar staff were friendly and interested in hearing about our holiday.

“Nothing chaned”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

Come here occasionally usually with the grandkids plenty of room to run around.

The beer is cold and the position and outlook of the place is good. The staff are young and for the most part very good.

The food is standard Gold Coast fare, over priced , poorly prepared and rudely presented. Don't make the mistake of sitting and looking into the kitchen, you get to see adolescents literally chucking food on a plate. It's best not to look.

The fish I got was old and dry, just rubbish really. The others had the burger and pasta and found it ok. We all got cold chips. Basically your old work cafeteria could do better.

If your looking for good food there is better in Main beach for the same money, or take the time to walk into Southport, better food available at a much more realistic price

“Mrs Karen Kelly”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014 via mobile

We had good reports about this resstaurant.

Arrived there only to have bar staff give our booked and reserved table to someone else..
After several attempts to seat us ..the waitress was lovely .we ended up outside in the wind then back inside in the noise. My husband ordered scotch fillet which he left as it was very grissly..which for the price you dont expect that..
Then we came to my scotch fillet also grissly...but unable to eat once I saw a cockroach making its way out of my.salad. all in all had great expectations..
Sadly disappointed

“Noisy & self serve but good food & value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2014

Not the place for a romantic dinner but if all you want is good food at a reasonable price, this place is the go. Pleasant outlook over Mariners Cove marina as well. If there on a Monday or Tuesday night, buy a drink first and ask for the meal deal, where you get a coupon which gives you for just $7 a basic dinner like chicken schnitzel or fish & chips.

“Terrific staff, lovely location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2014

We had lunch here on 22nd April. After our meals had arrived we had an unfortunate mishap that was out of our control. This was handled with professionalism and compassion by the waitresses. We had a steak burger and a chicken schnitzel, and both were lovely. The meals were large and prompt. This is our second visit and we look forward to our third.
