Pastel & Surf offers a range of Brazilian dishes. They do have tables set up in the Miami One courtyard should you wish to eat there. But generally they're more of a takeaway style restaurant. Food portions are large and prices are good. A lot of Brazilian's frequent Pastel & Surf and it's nice to experience a bit of culture without leaving Australia. I go to Pastel & Surf whenever I've got an excuse to head in general Gold Coast direction. Definitely buy a can of Guarana but be sure you're not in need of sleep any time soon. It's simply fruit juice but the power of the Guarana berry will knock your socks off.

My wife is Brazilian so we HAD to try this and we wern't dissapointed! The pastels are amazing and really good value for money at $5. We have been here twice for pastels but are yet to try the other meals but the steak was ordered by someone else while we were there and it looked great! Cant wait to go back!

Mudsyd ... Hmmm I don't know what you are talking about but you probably only enjoy mcdonalds with loads of salt and preservatives..that's why you thought it was bland.
Best Brazilian food I have eaten here on the coast ... Staff are bubbly and you get that real sense of Brazil when you listen to them In the kitchen.
Always leave full and is great value for money.

Great food at great prices , been to this gem of a restaurant a few times , the portions are huge for the money. You have to try the coxinha's super tasty with the hot sauce over it.

Could do with some cushions on the seats to make the experience that bit better.

I recently visited this restaurant via voucher deal.

This was the worst voucher deal I have ever used from any service provider ever. Promoting this kind business is an insult to 'living social' brand image as well.

Restaurant didn't serve the dessert for almost an hr and we spend about total of 2hrs for our dinner. When we complained about the delay in service they didn't even apologize for the delay. All the time the owner/chef was chatting with other guests.

To make things worse food turned out to be very bland as well.
