We spent a month in a two bedroom apartment on the 25th floor of this gorgeous, iconic, well located building. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, well appointed and maintained. Our main bedroom had an ensuite and there is a spacious main bathroom with a bath. The laundry has both a front loader washer and dryer. With a huge balcony and an outdoor setting, this is just great for breakfast and drinks with wonderful views down to Coolangatta, over to the hinterland and of course the gorgeous Surfers Paradise beach, which is lit at night. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a lovely pool area, which is near a full tennis court and BBQ facilities. Inside there is another pool, spa and gym area. We had our own parking spot in a secure undercover garage. With lift access to the unit it makes it so easy when arriving and leaving with your luggage. The reception is a phone call away should you need anything. A few metres from the complex is a tram/bus stop on the main road and a short walk to Cavill Avenue for coffee and shopping. On the same site is an Indian restaurant which we tried and was very good. What we liked is that we could park the car and walk everywhere. The north east facing aspect of this apartment makes it very comfortable temperature wise. Perfect spot to relax and "chill out".

Room Tip: Ask for unit 25B with its lovely north east aspect and watch the sun both rise and set

When arriving in our room the smell was unbearable, I had to go buy air freshener, our power was turned off so fridge was not cold.

We had a two bedroom apartment with beach view, the view was amazing. It wasn't the cleanest room but it was Ok.

Bed linen was just light blankets, not really suitable and they smelt dusty.

The apartment we got was10b and it was very outdated, all appliances were well used, felt like the 70's

Lots of noise could barely sleep. Floor above us must be wood could hear them all the time, lots of drunks around at night keeping us awake.

Mantra legends across the road, very noisy, bin truck wakes you at 6.30ish everyday, lots of grinding of footpaths made it uncomfortable.

The location however is perfect, only meters from the beach, markets a easy walk to the main shops and supermarkets, so really need to way up the pros and cons, would I stay again?? No not for the $1295 for 7 nights

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else

This is our second visit here and requested the same room as previous visit which we got. The staff on reception are so friendly and willing to help. Just arrived home today from a 12 night stay. Like any serviced apartment they give you the essentials to get you started. Used the outdoor pool more this visit as weather was warm but there is also a nice indoor pool. Might try a different apartment next time but will be definitely be BACK again!

I had the three bedroom apartment for a week.It was poorly cleaned on check in, finding socks, dead cockroaches under beds, clear plastic from packaging, lollie wrappers and plastic cups on the floor. The bed coverings were cheap and not desirable and in the master bedroom i was only supplied with a sheet, only 6 towels were provided for the week (even though they were aware that there were 6 ppl plus 2 infants) and only three rolls of toilet paper, no tissues provided, live cockroaches seen in the apartment, balcony sliding door was extremely hard to open and needed to be replaced, no flynets on the windows to let fresh air in, furniture and curtains was old and worn out and smell from the down stairs restaurant filled the main bedroom. carpark entrance was not level making it difficult to not scrape the bottom of the car on leaving the carpark, pools were not not child friendly and outdoor pool was not heated, whereas the indoor pool was too hot...The lobby and hallways of the apartment were uncomfortable to be in after the front desk closed as they had no air conditioning, Entrance to the lobby and lifts was not easy to access with a pram or wheel chair as it only had steps. not at all happy with the apartment.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a nice sized balcony overlooking the beach. The rooms were standard but clean enough. Reception staff did a great job. The best thing about this place is it's location! So close to the beach and Cavill Avenue!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights with our 7month old.
We had a huge apartment on the 18th floor. The view was amazing from our large balcony.
The apartment was not as clean as it could have been (it felt like the cleaning job had been rushed) although it was not dirty and unliveable.
We did have an issue with the airconditioner in the main bedroom- we could not get it to turn on! Once we requested it to be fixed by reception (which we waited a day to be done) the main switch was found in the second bedroom. We did not pay to use this room, so it was locked. Once this was sorted we were much more comfortable!
There was no chance of children opening the doors to the balcony as it was tough as adults to open them.

We found the reception staff to be lovely and helpful.
The kitchen and laundry were fantastic. The pool and BBQ areas are lovely.
The whole motel has excellent security measures in place.
Overall we were happy with our stay at Aegean Apartments.
