“Wow.. Pleasantly surprised! ”

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We arrived to an empty restaurant but thought we'd give it a go as there were so many great reviews and we weren't disappointed. We ordered 5 dishes from the 'little plates menu'and were totally full and very satisfied afterwards. Yum yum yum! Don't miss this one. Good and service was great.

“A bit disappointed.”
Reviewed 9 April 2014 via mobile

Food was so-so. We had the bruschetta, chicken satay and the brownie ala mode. Presentation was good but the taste was average. I can't say the same for sure for everything in the menu though; other people seem to have enjoyed the food here. Service by the young lady from London was excellent though and the ambience is good. It is right next to Club Liv and Paris -- so on weekend nights it may get a bit noisy/busy (I like quiet!). This place is hard to find by using google maps and TA -- for some reason it took us forever to understand the directions or the map, which never happens to us. It may be bec they haven't claimed their google pin on the map yet. Waitress said they've only been open 2-3 months.

“One of the best”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

Greeted with a smile we were talked into eating in what was an empty restaurant. Hostess explained they were only three months old; so we gave it a shot.

First, we were unsure of the wine and were promptly offered tastings of 5 different bottles until we found one we liked. Rather rare level of service in that regard.

The food; we had a bunch of different things, satay chicken, beef on a skewer, pumpkin bruschetta; and each was perfect in flavor and presentation.

It really was a delicious collection of tapas. It seemed there were no specialties, that simply, everything was good no matter what it was.

The service, location and the food combined to make this one of our better meals anywhere. We have a few more days in Surfers and will be back for sure before we go.

“Perfect for two”
Reviewed 1 April 2014

Found Muse on trip advisor when I went looking for a tapas joint, and was impressed by the good/excellent ratings, so I thought I'd give it a nudge.
The service by the team was really good and Mon especially, did an outstanding job as host. All dishes we ordered were delicious (def get the tiger prawns!) and the wine hit the mark also.
Its in a great location too, close enough to kick onto the Surfers night life, but far enough back from the main road to have some privacy.
I'll definitely be heading back there, and encourage everyone to go and enjoy a meal there.
